    The birds are busy humming.
Pan flute is always nice and sometimes haunting.
Love your photos of the reflection of the sky in the water and the flowers are ever so pretty. Nice photos you took awhile back too, interesting toning in them.
Memes, read them all they are good, love the green door one.

  12. The photos you took this month, are two photos showing the reflection on a river or a lake? They look so mysterious.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The mural photos you took in 2012, I wonder are they still there because now is 2025, 13 years apart.

  16. What a funny coincidence, Linda! Since two days I wait for my "teacher" - until it´s not explained what they want exactly I went with Paula Coelho...
Hot? No... And, next coincidence: I bought Broccoli Burger for the air fryer just before I popped in here! That soup sounds very yummy, too, image is saved :-)
So yes on the closing door! Was I desperate when I lost my job of 17 years - best that could´ve happened in the aftermath!
Oh, but my past is no waste paper at all. All the wonderful travel and friends along the way...
Wonderful murals! And all the flowers and reflections... Have a happy day!

  17. We make a delicious cream of broccoli soup, and sometimes it morphs into cream of cauliflower soup. Equally delicious, but not on a day when it’s 32 degrees. That gazpacho weather!

    Saludos.

  40. Of course, Linda, I loved all the inspiration here, but got an extra smile from the cat with her adopted "child." How sweet is that? Have a marvelous Thursday and weekend, my friend. Blessings!

  42. Interesting recipe for broccoli soup. Who'da thunk it would have oatmeal in it? I usually put cheese in mine. I may try that one sometime. I love the pictures and all the sweet sayings. Anything with cats seems to draw me these days since I now have two cats. But those hummingbirds having a "pool party" was something to see!! And I love the one about the parrot! LOL. Good one. Thank you for the smiles and good thoughts for the day!!

  62. 🪶🧐 Bonjour Linda,

  65. Love the quote about the parrot because it reminded me of the one that lived in our town and would be out on the verandah in the summertime. It had a 'vivid' sailor's vocabulary and we thought it was highly amusing because the preacher lived right across the street.

  71. Hi, Linda! I loved your post: the inspiring messages, your lovely photos, the hilarious dog nappies prank, but especially the beautiful pan piper music. The first hummingbird I ever saw, I was certain it was the tooth fairy. (I had a tooth under my pillow waiting for her.). The male hummingbird appeared at sunset, quite late on a summer evening near the Gaspe Peninsula in Northern New Brunswick. My mother came very quickly when I shouted that the tooth fairy was outside my window. That was when I learned about humming birds, and, yes, the tooth fairy arrived after I was asleep. I was six. 😂. Have a lovely weekend, my dear friend! ❤️
