These two photos are ones I took here in Montreal. I believe this particular one was in June 2012. These are Canada geese goslings! They are yellow when they are babies and grow up to be the large Canada geese that you will see in my second photo! You can click on each image to see a larger view.
This last photo is a pair of Canada geese on the water.
I just loved the colours and wanted to snap this photo!
I came across this scene in a park and just liked the colours and reflections, so I decided to take this photo.
This is a photo I took last week! With my cellphone camera! I am for the first time trying to use the camera on my cellphone, so please bear with me. I am so used to using a camera, which is what I used in all my photos that you have seen that I took years ago, this is one of my first attempts at taking a photo with my cellphone.
The following is a 3 minute video of vintage TV ads for Reitmans. For those of you who may not know what Reitmans is, it is a Canadian lady's clothing store. Get ready to laugh. I thought these TV ads were very well done and provided humour while advertising their products.
Here is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy!
This last video is called "Rainbow Relaxation: Mindfulness for Children". Even though this video is geared toward children, I think anyone who wants to take a few minutes to relax can benefit! Enjoy!

Pooh quotes always make me smile. : ) I think that is a pretty picture of the plant that you took with your cell phone. Sometimes they take the best pictures.
I love the joy in the journey one! Your cell phone photo turned out great! I used to always use a regular camera but have really been enjoying my cell phone. I do have a DSLR for special photos though.
My favorite is the pink energy one. I don't usually take photos with my phone, like everyone else does. I still like my camera with all the settings. Your photos are very good, though. You got a great one of the Hosta leaves.
Thank you for the uplifting words and sweet gosling photos. Your post is like a gentle reminder to slow down, stay curious, and cherish the small joys along the way
Very nice quotes and also the photography. And the photo with your phone's camera turned out well. I try it sometimes too but find that the colors are not so real and close ups don't turn out so nicely. Wish you a lovely day.
Your photos are really lovely. I enjoyed seeing them and many of us use our phone for photos, I do sometimes but use both my camera and camera phone. Love the videos and the memes, all true.
I loved the photos especially of the cute ducklings! I miss intelligent ads like the one of Reitmans :D very funny but smart! I also laughed at the YMCA gag :D Thanks for all the chuckles :)
I am sorry I have not visited your blog for many days. It seems that there have been so many things going on. I am always amazed about your neat and also wise picks. I wonder where you find them! This is my favourite this time: Never let anyone burst your bubble. I think you are too modest about your photos. I think they are good, I like particularly the photo of moon lily (Hosta flowers). The photo is so clear and it has beautiful colours. Have a good week!
Our local parks and waterways are alive with families of Canada Geese right now. It is amazing how they are capable of holding up traffic as they leisurely stroll across the road. People even jump out of their cars to snap pictures!
Oh LInda, your memes are always fun but what I love most is your photos! You have such a good eye and they're always so lovely. That photo of the goslings melts my heart!
Hello, Linda The goslings are adorable. Love the reflections, the colorful leaves and pretty plants. I enjoyed reading all the memes, wise words and some great advice. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week!
Another great collection of quotes. We have a family of Canada geese that's on the river just outside our building and they have at least 25 goslings. I lost count because they kept moving so there could even be more than that.

Thanks for the uplifting start to the week! Aren't those goslings adorable?! I know better than to get close to parents, though. Lol.
I think you'll find the phone camera ideal for the close up and landscape shots! Not as great for zooming in too much, of course, but just fine otherwise.
Thanks for the comment on my blog, Linda. I never met my friend's mum, as she was not here, but I'm deeply saddened for my friend and her family. 💕
