This is an old song that I have really loved for quite a long time now. It is called "In the Summer Sun of Greece" by a group called A La Carte. Enjoy!
This last video is a little lamb chilling (relaxing) with a cat. :)

The good thing about being retired? Mondays no longer have power over me. The bad thing about being retired? I'm on the 17th hole of the golf course of life. And the 18th hole is a Par 3. Please forgive my use of a golfing metaphor.
Monday, Again?! That cat's expression mirrored mine exactly when I woke up this morning hah..hah...hah... Oh! The little boy in the cowboy hat (your first picture) is so cute! I love the flowers that captured so beautifully!
Your photos 2013: I like the photo of the goose by the lake. Very serene environment. Your current photos: I like the red red roses the best. I wish I could have rose 🌹 bushes at home that bloom with many beautiful red roses 🌹
Do you need to travel far to go on these nature walks?
Awwww, the first one is too cute. And I agree we need more kind acts. And to never giving up... The different angle is rather difficult for me... Beautiful flowers and oh, the dancing!!! And such a happy summer-song! Well, I´d so like to join the cat and lamb, but... Monday morning means studying. Thank you for the nice start!
So, my day is off to a great start after seeing and reading your post! Thanks for the tips and the smile on my face! I wish you a great start to the week! hugs Elke
The first one is beautiful and sweet. The rest of the memes and so on, lovely and your own photos I enjoyed looking at them, thanks for sharing, Linda. Just for laughs, does make you laugh :) Hadn't hear of that song until now - it's a catchy tune. The best of friends, that cat and the lamb, so sweet.
This is such a powerful reminder! 💡 It's amazing how shifting our perspective can turn a roadblock into a stepping stone. Some of the most groundbreaking solutions come from moments when people refuse to see limits—only possibilities. Your words are a nudge to stay curious and resilient, even (especially!) when things feel impossible.
Here’s to the "ordinary" minds who dare to think differently—may we all channel that energy when life gets twisty. 🌟
I love the one that says we all smile in the same langauge. I read wrong and thought that one video was a song from the movie Grease. No wonder it didn't sound familiar...lol
Kiitos Linda.
That Bunny Hop video made me smile and brought back many memories of attending family weddings--thanks for the trip down memory lane today ;))) hugs, Julierose
It's amazing how quickly Mondays come around. LOL. At least your post gets us all off to a wonderful start, Linda! Love the flowers! Oh, and I would make one edit to one of the inspirational quotes--that we need to accept what is past, not forget it, because that's not really possible, IMO. Accept what's gone, focus on the Now with as much gratitude as possible. :-)
What great shares today. One is better than the next, and extremely inspiring. I love- I need to forget what's gone, appreciate what still remains and look forward to what's coming next.- although they are all good ones. Have a great week and thanks for the uplifting thoughts and photos.
"And the 'lion' will lie down with the lamb.'" That last video was precious, Linda, and I enjoyed the bunny hop, too. LOL! I do love your photos of flowers- they always brighten my day. Blessings!
