You know those snowglobes, that you shake up, and the snow's everywhere, blocking the view of the scenery inside? That blizzardy snowglobe is your mind during stress. If you want to see the world clearly, you must allow that snow to settle. You can do this by taking time to 1. Meditate or 2. Breathe

The following photos are my own which I took on my walks on the island of Montreal in 2012...they are old photos. These are the remaining 4 murals from my last post that I took in a park! You can click on each image to see a larger view.
The following are photos that I took with my cellphone this month on my walks here on the island of Montreal. You can click on each image to see a larger view.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French), except this particular one was done in the U.K. rather than here in Montreal! Yes, they have also travelled to other parts of the world to do these gags! Enjoy! :)

Good morning, Linda! I love all the quotes. The one about the snowglobe is so so true! I cannot think straight when I am stressed and panicky. And this one "In Ancient Egypt, cats were considered gods...cats have not forgotten this" any cat owner will agree. LOL! Love your photo of nature - the river, trees and ducks.
Great advice on most of your shares, I do believe the one about the cats feeling they are special, our boys feel that way :) Wow those murals are wonderful, so amazing to me that people can work on such big buildings.
The sayings are lovely, the murals are really nice, the barn is my favourite. The videos are good, really loved the parrots. Your photos are also nice, good to see what you saw on your walk. Take care.
An outstanding collection of wise words and beautiful images, videos too. Murals are always very interesting, you took some great ones here, and your own photos were lovely. Thank you for sharing them dear friend.
Oh wo1, that 3-year old sings lovely! Lovely quotes and heart-warming! Lovely murals! Yes, cats know that they are little ruthless "gods" :) The parrots are so funny! Have a wonderful week!
Wishing you an energetic week ahead and may all your ventures proceed smoothly. 🙏 The mural photos you took in 2012 are beautiful. The artist or artists must have painstakingly drawn every strokes 💕 The photos you took this month look so serene. I would enjoy taking a walk in this nature park.
Bom dia. Uma excelente segunda-feira. Segundo dia da semana. Que seja cheio de novas realizações. Obrigado pelas reflexões, minha querida amiga. Montreal parece ser muito linda. Sou apaixonado por Arte Urbana. Grande abraço carioca.
Unfortunately, your blog listing is still trapped at the bottom of my sidebar follow roster, but nevertheless I remembered that you have a Monday offering, so here I am to enjoy it.
The analogy comparing one's mind under stress to a shaken snow globe is a great one. Seems like it is becoming increasingly difficult in this day and age to let those snowflakes settle and gain composure and clarity. "Stop being a prisoner of your past. Be the architect of your future" is also empowering, as is the Martin Luther King quote: "Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend." Once again, I found value in all of the inspirational memes you selected.
Those Montreal murals are wonderful. I could study their glorious detail all day long. I also admire the set of pictures you took more recently showing the ducks enjoying life on the water. It's interesting to me that the graffiti covered rocks in the foreground somehow enhance the charm of the picture showing the stone stairway leading up the hill. Perhaps your expert composition skills are responsible for the effect. As always, the Just for Laughs Gag, this one involving the missing hairpiece, is laugh-out-loud funny. The parrots chatting (arguing?) like a married couple is a hilarious video clip. When I was a boy, my family owned a Mexican "double-yellow-headed" parrot. The bird learned some 50 different words, but posed a problem because it had a habit of biting people when allowed out of its cage. I also got a kick out of the three year old child singing "Fly Me To The Moon."
Thank you for brightening my morning with your uplifting content, dear friend Linda. I'll see you in the middle of August when I return to the blog scene with my next post!
The murals are beautiful. I so agree with the meme about arguments. I needed a reminder this morning. It will make the day much more pleasant. Thank you.
