The following photos are ones that I took on July 31st with my cellphone. They are all photos taken in Westmount Park. You can click on each image to see a larger view.
A bilingual sign telling people to respect the wildlife. "Respectez la faune", "Respect the wildlife" It's important to note as well that the light at the top of this pole is an old one, which you pretty much no longer see on the streets of Montreal. There are newer models now.
These next two photos are of some sleeping ducks.
This last photo is of the Westmount Library...side entrance. The Westmount Library is right beside the Westmount Greenhouse.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) Enjoy!
This Mother Hen talks to her eggs - and they chirp back! (BBC Earth)
This last video is from a movie entitled Antshillvania. I actually saw this video a few decades ago, it is quite entertaining for both young and old! :) This video is the Intro for this movie, Antshillvania! A catchy tune. Enjoy!
Next post will be on Monday. I post on Mondays and Thursdays.

Hi Linda. Thank you for the kind words about my angel photo. Regarding stress. This sounds silly however I only learned recently that stressed is desserts spelled backward. How funny.
Birds aren't just biology, they have a biography. So true, Linda! May we observe all of nature with respect and love as it all has mattered to God. Blessings!
The hen clucking away to her eggs is so cute. Having grown up on a farm I'm familiar with broody hens. They can really peck hard if you dare to touch their eggs.
I like the willow tree in your photo taken in westmount park. This park looks so nice, well maintained that even the lamp is kept in good condition and still working fine 👍 I would like to take a walk in this park too. Reminds me of my walk in Winchester, england, uk.
Thank you for all the sayings and adorable 😺🐈 posters. You are so resourceful to get all these nice and insightful sayings digital posters. Thank you again. Is it autumn in Montreal now? I feel that autumn is the best time to enjoy a nature walk. 💕
Beautiful as always, thank you Linda. I have always seen animals no different from humans, actually I think they are more intelligent. Love the photos of the park. And the library is very elegant. These messages really help me, as you know, I to struggle with depression and self worth. It's always enjoyable visiting your blog. Blessings 🪷🦋💖
Lovely memes, and Jane a marvelous women. Your photos are interesting too. The skeleton is a scream :) lol and the cook video I found interesting and the last video is an interesting one. The people that do that are talented.
I threw out one blanket in my "sleep" today due to still not knowing if ESE ("my company") takes me back. Stress. Crazy, dear Linda, you bring it up now.... But I hope for the best.... I am but a Pluviophile.. I love and care too much for living beings... And yes. Life is too complicated right now. But I have to remind myself there are wars outside, so... I am "OK". And I think I must be a cat. I cannot hide my feelings - and I don´t won´t to. Honesty... Hope I am really wanted (they tell me (at ESE) and I wait...). Good advice with the good days, dear friend, I need that now... Why do we need signs telling us to respect others? I was taught this early on .... LOL. Ingo is skinny, but no skeleton. Yesterday- I kid you not.... same. He didn´t scream, though.
Yes, all animals are beings with complex lives! Let's treat them with respect. Lovely photos of the park. It looks very serene and quiet there...my kind of place :)
Happy to see you again, dear old friend! I've been thinking about you up there enduring the heat, humidity and smoke, and hope it has not affected your health or spirits very much. Hang in there. Summer's on the run.
I like all of your kitty memes. Words of wisdom indeed. So true that cats do not hide their feelings the way humans often do. Also, the one about adopting a special needs cat touched my heart. The words of Jane Goodall also resonated. Nowadays, in the midst of all the madness, the operative word is "somehow." Regarding the meme by The Latest Kate, for the first time, Mrs. Shady and I spotted a hummingbird in our garden yesterday! Once again, you have taken excellent photos of your local greenery, flowers and waterways. The Just For Laughs gag is truly outrageous. It's a good thing no one suffered a heart attack. Amazing to hear those chicks chirping from within the eggs, a first for me! The singing ants are very entertaining.
This was another enjoyable and uplifting post, dear friend Linda. If time permits, please swing by Shady's Place where I have begun year 18 of my blogging journey. Have a wonderful day!
I see you have a pearly white cat too. Thank you for adopting Cisco and taking such good care of him (I'm assuming it's a he). He's so cute & adorable.
Such lovely photos and quotes. If I saw a skeleton in a public toilet I think I'd pee myself :) I found the video of the chicken with the chirping eggs so interesting! Have a lovely weekend!
Your quotes today are especially inspirational. I love the one by Jane Goodall and many of the others. Beautiful photos and a lovely way for me to start the day!
I enjoyed the hatching chick video very much. Animals, they all are unique individuals, like humans. I've learned so much from my cats. Dr. Goodall is a hero of mine. She is so wise. Life is chaos, always was, always will be. Don't you love it? Thank you for visiting my blog, down in Oregon!
Hello Linda Beautiful photographs from Westmount Park, and I agree ... it is a very catchy tune in the Antshillvania video. Enjoy the rest of the week and have a happy and peaceful weekend.
Hello. Thank you for sharing these quotes and photos. I really enjoyed the variety of inspiring messages about hope, kindness, and self-worth. They are a good reminder that it is important to be compassionate toward yourself and others. The quotes about cats were also great, especially the one from Ernest Hemingway about their emotional honesty. The photos from Westmount Park are beautiful. The shot of the sleeping ducks is so peaceful, and the light pole is a neat detail. It’s interesting to see the different elements of the park, from the wildlife signs to the architecture of the library.
What a positive video filled with hope, Linda. You are truly a treasure. Thank you for all you do here on blogger, to make folks feel better. Much love, Andrea xoxo
These are all wonderful reminders, Linda. Cisco is so adorable! Aw, I wish I have the time this weekend to stroll to a beautiful pond or garden like this. Would be a great stress-reliever for sure!
These are all great, Linda. I do like Jane Goodall's the best, but then she really is someone special. The video were funny and interesting. I also liked your photos - good reminder about respecting wildlife. Have a lovely weekend!
