You always share such great memes, Linda. My favorite today is, " Struggling now doesn't mean struggling forever. We can hold out for a better time." So deep!
Very lovely flowers photos you took! I love all of them especially the first flower photo. Indeed nature is my medicine, I love nature and I love to observe animals.
I like the nature is my medicine poster with tree, a pond and those goose. Looks so serene and beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day ahead!
Trust cows more than chemists! So good! I agree that the little things make a huge difference, good thing to remember. The first flowers are Cosmos, we have some in our yard and I love them.
Oh, my goodness Linda - you and I think so much alike. Every time I read all your memes - I love them all. My favorite today: As for butter versus margarine, I trust cows more than chemists. - Joan Gussow Love the ivory soap commercial. Your photos are wonderful too!
In Italia parecchi anni or sono un presentatore morto giovanissimo, Nik Novecento asseriva che le cose più belle della vita sono gratis: Un tramonto L'alba Un sorriso Il mare il cielo stellato. Serena giornata.
Septemberr 19th would´ve been my Mom´s Birthday... Cows are so cute. Crazy I still like a good steak... Yes to the little things! It sure works with the smile! I had it both ways, a good feeling. And to better times and growing... strong. I wear wildflowers (or weed) around my neck right now. And I need to declutter! Beautiful flowers and oh, my, that ice cream! That lamb, I need to be more like that! We had an ad where a housewife had her fingers in a bowl of soap and did not realize it. See here. Thank you, dear friend Linda, for the wise quotes and the fun and the memory!
Such lovely quotes! I especially love the summer one! Charlie Brown always has gold to share ;) Such lovely cosmos and rose photos! Have a wonderful weekend!
I was amused, laughed, and reflected on everything you wrote in your post. I admired your beautiful photos of this park. I enjoyed being here with you again. Yes, summer isn't over yet, and I hope to have some more beautiful days, and you too. Take care, see you then! Hugs, Elke
Oh! Those black and white Tuxedo cats reminded me of mine which died on 02-09-2023. I love the flowers you captured with your phone. The first photo are Cosmos which I used to have in my garden.
Hello Linda, Wonderful collection of inspiring words and quotes. Your flower photos are lovely, flowers just must us happy. Take care, have a great day!
I love reading inspirational quotes and you really have some good ones today I especially liked "Clutter is nothing more than postponed decisions. - Barbara Hemphill" I just watched the commercial- it's so funny ! She also looks "old" compared to today's young mothers! How things have changed!! Thanks for the post - I have a smile on my face after reading it.
I definitely prefer butter to margarine! It's a natural food with natural ingredients and no artificial stuff! I definitely trust cows more than chemists. I loved all of the pictures and quotes today. They make me smile and reflect on the wisdom shared, and that's a good way to start my day. Thank you! Have a lovely day my friend.
Good morning Linda...."Nature is my medicine" how true this is. If only we would use Nature more often.. It can heal our minds and when our minds are in a good spot, then our bodies are healthier. Have a wonderful Day...
As always, your meme affirmations lifted my spirits, dear friend. One in particular that resonated and applies to today's chaotic world of social media is as follows: "It's better to walk alone keeping love in your heart...than to be popular in a crowd filled with judgement and hate." I also appreciate: "Nature is my medicine" and other elements of your post that remind us that animals are great therapy. The one about the gentle cows reminded me of how I befriended a cow in the early 1970s. He was part of a herd that grazed in a pasture adjacent to my apartment complex. Whenever I'd take a walk along the pasture fence, this cow would break away from the herd, come over to see me and let me scratch him. I knew it was the same cow every time because they had numbered tags on their ears. To this day, I cherish the quality time I spent 50+ years ago with cow number 32! The ice cream stand gag was hilarious. Some of those people needed to eat as quickly as possible to prevent their towering ice cream cones from toppling over. Others seemed delighted to have received so much tasty treat for their money. The pictures you took at the park in Town of Mount Royal are delightful. As the last picture of the set in particular proves that you have an eye for composition. I could watch the lamb and kittens video on a loop all day long for inspiration. It illustrates that different types can live together in harmony and love each other. The Ivory Soap commercial made me smile. When I was a child, our family used Ivory in the bath. Far from moisturizing or soothing, the soap brand always dried out my skin and left it red and sore.
I am returning with a new post first thing tomorrow, Friday, and hope you can swing by for a visit. Have a safe and happy weekend ahead, dear friend Linda!
Linda what an adorable video of the sheep with those kittens. Such a sweet peaceful picture of animals living together in harmony. All of your quotes are ones that make us stop and recognize how important the spiritual aspects affect our deeds and actions. Your photos are lovely. The first one is of cosmos. They grow in my garden - such carefree annuals that don't take a great deal of care. Well hope you are having a great day - and yeah there are still 19 days left of summer...I am glad. Hugs!
Agradecer el trabajo el trabajo que realizas para traernos esa grandes sentencias acompañando de imágenes. También las fotos de tus paseos y esos variados videos.
so many of these meme's spoke to me, it was hard to pick a favorite. but moreover i enjoyed your images. the first picture you shared are of cosmos, they are everywhere right now, this is their season!!
I like the little things quote, I so agree, showing a bit of kindness can go a long way. Also lifting each other up instead of trying to shine, the sky wouldn't be as impressive with just one star :) I have the flowers in your first picture in my wildflower garden but have no idea what they are called, they are taking over my garden I have had to prune back a little.
Wonderful post Linda. Thank you very much for the insightful quotes. I wish I could have the peace of that little lamb, and the acrobatic cat made my day. Hugs Linda.
"Be a wildflower" - I just love that! You always have the most inspirational quotes, Linda. Gorgeous garden photos. Looks like it was a lovely day to be out and about enjoying nature. Blessings.
Lots of good sayings and pretty pics. That's a commercial I don't remember. Two years before I was born may be the reason--lol! But I remember Ivory commercials about being for beauty and babies. :)
Great photos. Nature is my medicine and sanctuary. Thomas de Quincey is so right, cows are amazing creatures and very intelligent too give the chance. I also love them. :-D
Hi, I saw you stopped by my blog and left a comment. I was very pleased. I've been blogging for 15 years, and despite some ups and downs, I continue to write. Over time, I've had periods when I've devoted myself more to cooking, reading, or embroidery. I have a job and many hobbies, so I alternate between them in my free time. What do you do during the long Canadian winters? Our winters already seem long to me, and I spend them working in the office and dedicating myself to reading, drawing, or doing crafts like crocheting or knitting.
Nature isn't only my medicine, it's my church) temple as well. Love the quote about walking alone, with love. Rather than in the judgement of a crowd. I've had dreadful experiences with groups. Hence I walk alone. Thank you also Linda for commenting on my blog each day. I have lots of people viewing each day, yet they don't seem inspired to comment. Weird!! The pink flowers are Comos.
Hello Linda Lots of good things in your post. I particularly like the words "It's the little things that usually have the greatest impact in life" The photographs here are beautiful.
Enjoy the rest of your week and have a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteI like the video of the lamb :-) and I agree on the quote about motivation, as we have to keep it burning.
ReplyDeleteWith regard to butter, I'm afraid many cows are trated with synthetic hormones, which help increase milk production.
Pretty August flowers, Linda 💛
