Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you so much for taking the time to come and visit me here! I really appreciate it!
Here are today's selections, which I hope will add some brightness to your day!

A cat purring on your lap is more healing than any drug in the world, as the vibrations you are receiving are of pure love and contentment. - St. Francis of Assisi
Healthy Pets
Make joy and happiness the center of your world. I am happy. - Louise Hay
The best thing about hard times is that you get to see everyone's true colors.
Rustle, rustle Autumn's here. So wander in the magic, and keep hope near. - Angie Weiland-Crosby
If you spend your time hoping someone will suffer the consequences for what they did to your heart, then you're allowing them to hurt you a second time in your mind. - Shannon L. Ander

Pass It On. The Foundation for a Better Life
I am thankful for the difficult people I've met. They have shown me exactly who I don't want to be. (difficult people can include bullies, ones who try to use you or take advantage of you, who are unkind to you, disrespect you, etc.)
Times may be bad, but that doesn't mean things can't get better. Removing hope doesn't make you safe, it just makes you depressed.

good morning linda! right now it's 8.23 am in malaysia and will start my class at 10 am(lecturing). just dropping by to read all the inspirational quotes! take care and have a lovely day!
The best thing about hard times is that you get to see everyone's true colors. I am learning each and every day how true this is. I am also learning to let the negative roll off my back.
Oh, yes, Linda, that cat video made my day! Their unique penchants for invading our most vulnerable spaces certainly can keep us humble and laughing at the same time. Blessings always!
A cat's scratches from their tiger's paws are also very "therapeutic" and "healing", just saying, lol. A lot of good stuff here as usual. Really appreciate your efforts in trying to lift people up and make them feel comforted and hopeful through your sharing. Will BRB. Be right back!
I love this - If you won't let your past die, then it won't let you live. - Perry Noble - I am experiencing this as I right. You have to forget the past and the past hurts before you can live and move on. I sent you a comment today from your comment on my blog and I think it came back.
Loving the autumn leaves 🍂🍁 photos (two) which you took and shared. We do not have the 4 seasons here in SG, only all year round hot hot 🥵 summer, can you call that a blessing in disguise. My wish list is to travel to Australia and New Zealand since these are the 2 countries I have not been to but I heard the news that they are having a high temp of 39 degree Celsius and possible strong winds.
The Budweiser TV commercial with the horses, snow and snowballs is amusing! Reminds me of my trips to Turkey, Canada and South Korea where I experienced winter and snow. Such wonderful moments and memories!
My favorite one tonight is “ If you spend your time hoping someone will suffer the consequences for what they did to your heart, then you're allowing them to hurt you a second time in your mind. - Shannon L. Ander” This is so very true. Hopefully we can heal from the hurt and move on and not be bitter in our hearts. Forgiveness is something we do for ourselves too. I love the Scarborough Fair on the Zither. That was the first song my daughter learned to play on the piano.
Before you speak - that is a good one and I wish more people would do that, think. Your autumn leaves are lovely too and nice to see, Linda. Enjoyed the videos.
Yes, grateful I sure am, dear friend Linda... The Buddha sure is very right, too. And to drugs, I loved the book "A street cat named Bob" - amazing story (haven´t seen the film yet). To all the people, even the bad... LOVE the Budweiser! LOL on the cat. Warm hugs and much love to you.
Oh! Linda, I love the photos you took of the tree with the colorful leaves! My favorite quote today is "When you use the stones thrown at you to lift you up, the bigger the rock the higher you rise!" Turning the negatives to generate positivity and strength in yourself is very powerful.
Loved these, especially the cats! I am slowly but surely becoming more of a cat lover. They really are special creatures sent to make us smile! Thank you for all of your quotes and pictures...they always make me stop and think and smile too! Have a lovely day!
At times the quotes you share with us hit harder than other times, for some reason these ones hit really hard yet in a good way. Oh by the way, I love the red autumn shades that you get in your piece of paradise!
I think I feel encouraged to enjoy a nice long bubble bath today...the meme of the girl soaking in the tub and blowing bubbles is exactly what I need. I always enjoy reading each and every one of these. Blessing to you Linda...enjoy a sweet day.
I really enjoy reading the quotes you've chosen. They're full of life wisdom. My number one this time is: If you don't let your past die, it won't let you live. Perry Noble Beautiful autumn shots! All the best! Best regards :)
Thank you, Linda, for the quote about stones; you always have something that lifts the spirits, and the gag improved my mood, it's really good. The commercial with the horses is amazing. Hugs.
Rustle, rustle Autumn's here. So wander in the magic, and keep hope near. - Angie Weiland-Crosby
First, my favorite of today is the one above, we have enjoyed some wonderful autumn weather. It really has been an amazing October weather wise. Second, thank you so much for sharing your story regarding your work. I love that you would always encouraged everyone to adopt, not shop. The joy that we have had with Ernie is simply amazing. I had gone through a difficult time and Ernie was a lifeline for me. I needed him just as much as he needed me. xx oo Carla
So many lovely quotes. My favorite is You heal by releasing, not suppressing! Loved the Autumn poem and the Scarborough Fair music is sooooooooo lovely! Love it sung by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel! Have a wonderful weekend!
A beautiful collection of wisdom. I’m most touched by the thought about stones that lift us higher, and the one about a cat’s purr. So much peace, gratitude, and light here.
Love those autumn photos Linda :-D And the cats ones. Purring is so theraputic for sure, I agree :-D And totally relate to this one: "I am thankful for the difficult people I've met. They have shown me exactly who I don't want to be." So true for me :-D

ReplyDeleteI’ve heard that before, but it is such a good reminder.
I agree about a cat’s purr. Our Lacey was a champion purrer.
