Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you so much for taking time out to come and visit me here! I really appreciate it!

Here are today's picks, which I hope will bring some inspiration to your day!

When we return wild animals to nature, we merely return them to what is already theirs. For man cannot give wild animals freedom, they can only take it away. - Jacques Cousteau

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. - Helen Keller

You cannot control much of what happens in life. But you can control if you let it affect your mood and beliefs. If during tough times you remain confident that what you want is very possible, then what you want will be very possible. Life is constantly testing your commitment to snagging your desires. And life's greatest prizes go to those most capable of keeping their eye on the prize - even in the midst of a storm.

A relaxing, peaceful evening at home is one of life's greatest pleasures.
White Ribbons of Peace

Warning: Often when you meet someone you instantly crush on, you have this urge to speed into the relationship. But when you rush your crush, you can crash your crush. Just think about what happens when you bike slowly versus quickly down the street. If you go slowly, you notice many details. If you speed, you just get a big blur or data. This goes ditto on dating data. If you head slowly into love, you notice problematic deal breakers before they become painful heart breakers. But if you rush your crush, you might not be able to handle dangerous personality curves or surprise emotional potholes.

  1. The flowers are beautiful; and so red! My favorites are the one about overthinking and the one with the grey cat. I remember Victor Borge well.

  2. I found the idea of not rushing your crush to be worth thinking about. I mean, I am well beyond crushes, but who knows if I will ever be able to share the concept with someone. Probably not, but still …

  3. I am never sure what I have said or done in my head and what I really said or did, LOL. I try to text people so I can review if I actually informed them of something or thought I should mention something.

2018 I was told I have a burnout - not a funny time when you end up in "wrong hands"... Hope all is OK?

Helen Keller sure did overcome a lot! I hope what I want is possible indeed... To begin with, I have polka-dotted brollies :-) I downloaded this quote as a reminder, thank you, Linda.
The clutter-free space... oh. Ingo is finally at it but meanwhile it is worse... But... to a new day!
LOL, you have some sense of humor! Have a great start to the week, much love and hugs from here.

  29. Those are really important signs to watch out for. ⚠️ Burnout can creep up gradually, and noticing headaches, tension, sleep issues, or emotional changes like irritability and cynicism is key. Taking steps early — like rest, setting boundaries, or seeking support — can make a big difference before it gets overwhelming. 🧘‍♀️💛

  30. Good morning Linda! The Singing Nun's voice is so angelic! Victor Borge and Robert Merrill: Autumn Leaves, now that's a good one. I had done something like this with my Secondary School classmates before and we won the First Prize (something like a Musical with acting, props and background Singing). The Song Title was "Nothing Gonna Change My Love For You, a Song from the 1980s Era, but in our story plot the Male Main Character had a change of heart after 4 years so it added a little bit of irony and humour to it. Wonderful memories but that was like donkey years ago ha! Have a good day and a good week ahead dear friend. You are awesome.

  34. Hi Linda! Thanks again for an uplifting post of wisdom. I liked Cousteau's line, that we cannot give wild animals freedom, just take it. Some people don't understand that we're supposed to take care creation, not dominate it. I also liked the think positive message, because overthinking can definitely lead to negativity. Blessings, my friend!

  36. Very lovely posts - especialy those with cottagecore style - and flower photos!
Nowadays it's difficult to get some people to understand that animals are supposed to be in the wild!
Ah the duo of musicians - genius and whimisical at the same time -- this is true genius!
    Have a wonderful week!

  38. Las frases seleccionadas como de costumbre muy para hacer reflexionar sobre ellas. Esas flores de los jardines de la ciudad muy bonitas y bien cuidadas.
Me gustaron los videos de los presos a la fuga y el de los pajaritos.

    Saludos.
