Mental Health, Happy Life
Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to each and every one of you! Thank you so much for taking the time to come and visit me here! I really appreciate it so much!
Here are today's selections, which I hope will brighten your day in some way! :)
But there's something special about her royal highness! :)
When someone is mean, don't listen. When someone is rude, walk away. When someone tries to put you down, stay firm. Don't let someone's bad behavior destroy your inner peace.
Nature is the best medicine for serenity. Peace, calmness, stillness. It's good for the heart. - Karen Madwell
Be patient and understanding with the elderly. For many, their life has become lonely, depressing and physically, mentally and emotionally painful and exhausting. Don't get angry or yell at them.
Love and respect them. It's not their fault for getting old, and what has happened to them will happen to all of us eventually. Becoming elderly is just a natural ending process of life.
Wherever we go...we can always carry those we love tucked within our heart. - Jane Lee Logan
Princess Sassy Pants & Co.
The following photos are my own, which I took on my cellphone on my walks here in Montreal last month. You can click on any image to see a larger view.
These last two photos are ones I took at dusk/sunset. Clouds were moving in, as we were expecting rain.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal! Enjoy! I posted this one in the past, but months ago, so this may be new for some of you, and those of you who have seen it may enjoy seeing it again! It is indeed a favourite! :)

Querida Linda, magnífico esses pensamentos! Gostei imensamente. Os vídeos são muito divertidos, em suma, adorei sua postagem! Tenha uma linda semana, com muita paz e alegria! Grande abraço daqui de longe, do Sul do Brasil, Porto Alegre. Gracias pela sua amável visita! 🦜❤️🌹🙋♀️
I appreciated much your vote for the elderly, I am elderly. Old. Older than you might imagine. Meaning I'm running with borrowed time. We like Montreal, been there several times. Earlier days.
Good ones! The idea of health is the result of investing in nutrition is interesting because I think we under-appreciate the idea of investing in ourselves. The best investment you can make is in yourself.
"Be patient and understanding with the elderly. For many, their life has become lonely, depressing and physically, mentally and emotionally painful and exhausting. Don't get angry or yell at them." Hmm, I'm definitely elderly ( almost 86), but that doesn't describe me. And I think we should be patient with everyone.
What impressive sayings and words of wisdom! I'll gladly take them to heart to help me get through my daily life! Your photos are beautiful, and what a stunning sky you had! Have a wonderful start to the new week! hugs Elke
Lovely memes. The videos, well the first one had me laughing as usual was amused at the young women at the end...the cake decorator, wow, cost a fortune today to get that done.
"Due to this morning's empty dish situation, you should know I'm interviewing others for your position." That's not an option here. My cats will choose violence if I'm not up to the work. The lady will tear on my long hair and the brat will use me as a bouncy castle. It usually works quite quickly! ;-)
Love the dark clouds in your own photos cos I love rainy days when I am indoor. The Gag video made me laugh, so happy to see the goat having a Goatel built for him (and so smart of the designer/architecturer), the song/music sounds like a Christmas song to me and those cakes look so pretty with the icing that I don't bear to eat them.
Linda, the quotes are so wise and some so fun! I appreciate the one about being patient with the elderly. I always remind myself to be kind and understanding towards my mum because sometimes she can be difficult. The first photo you took with your phone - those look like beautiful roses.
dear linda, whenever i'm writing a comment in your blog, it's like the feeling of writing to a friend far-far away (those days we have the term 'pen-pal'). right now it's 4.09 pm in kuala lumpur and I have just finished my class for today (i'm lecturing). my selected quote from your entry today is : Nature is the best medicine for serenity. Peace, calmness, stillness. It's good for the heart. till then, take care, and me sending warmest regards to u from far-far away
Hello Linda, Another great post, filled with inspiring quotes. Words we should live by! Nature is good for the health! Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Dear Linda, good morning 🌞 to you. The flowers bush in your photo must be covered in snow this month, right? Took me a while to figure out that the two photos are grey clouds and not snow 😂 Wishing you a good week ahead! Do you celebrate 🎄? If yes, I guess you must be looking forward to it.
My favorite two this time are the cat letting owner know he or she is unhappy with employee performance and the Goatel build, with appropriate supervision.
Great photos Linda :-D Yes cats are way superior, let them run the world! :-D Nature sure is the best medicine, I totally agree with Karen on this too. :-D
To happiness! And to cats, even if I´ll never have one. True about the path for sure! And about the elderly - my neighbor W "is allowed" to visit his children, I never saw one of them here.. You have some kind of humor! And what a wonderful story about the Goatel!! Who the heck eats such a wonderful cake, they´re wonderful! Much love and warm hugs from here (P.S. arm is much better!) 🥰
"We're all healing from something. Please be gentle with others. You never know if you're hitting a wound." Isn't that an important thing to remember!! Happy new week Linda💗
Hi Linda, dear friend! What a beautiful, warm, and healing post — as always! Every time I visit your blog I leave with a lighter heart and a big smile. These little drops of wisdom, the cats (of course!), the Canadian moose getting a car wash , the pancakes with maple syrup, the sunset photos you took in Montreal… everything feels like a gentle hug.I especially loved these two today:“We are all healing from something. Please be kind…” That one always stops me in my tracks. And the reminder to have patience and love for the elderly… oh Linda, that one touched me deeply. You’re so right: getting older isn’t a choice, and a little kindness can mean the entire world to someone who feels invisible.
Thank you for spreading so much light, humour, and compassion in a world that sometimes feels too heavy. Posts like this are genuine medicine for the soul.Sending you the biggest hug from Spain
Again, I fund some real treasures here. While reading through your post I found myself nodding my head confirmingly at many of these quotes. The nature ones are particularly beautiful. Thank you!
I know you sent this to me and I was going to read it - and I forgot all about it until now. I am so sorry. My days have been so booked. My favorite for sure is: Colors are the smiles of nature. - Leigh Hunt
Wow, great cake icing art! Beautiful cloud photos :) The hedgie knitting is the cutest! And those color of nature are just breathtaking golden hues!!!! Have a wonderful week!
Lizzie would most definitely concur with the royal highness meme! And I loved the one about boxes/clutter and mess. Truer words! You do such a good job with curating these!
- Lori Deschene 2. I've chosen to be happy because it's good for my health - Voltaire 3. ALL! Many greetings to you - you are so blessed!
as I get older I do appreciate more what the older people go through and try to give more attention to those that are a little older than myself. It is hard to realize that I am now considered a senior citizen :) I do think my cats have given me the look that I am not doing my job of feeding them right away when I get up, LOL!
These inspirations really warmed my heart today 💛✨ Such gentle reminders about healing, softness, and caring for one another. Thank you for sharing this little bundle of comfort.
Very interesting quotes ! Especially the one with the elderly persons. I see this here every day, some are always cheerful and happy and others are only happy when they are not happy.
Es gibt wieder viel zu lesen. Ich finde es sehr positiv, dass Sie auch das Alter ansprechen. Mein Lieblingsspruch ist diesmal: Die Welt mag kalt sein, aber wir müssen es nicht sein.
Dear linda. morning greetings from kuala lumpur. it's now 8.56 am, and i have classes 10am-12pm. The weather here has been slightly cold and gloomy due to intermittent rains and thick clouds too. I have just had my breakfast (alone) in my office as I usually reach my office as early as 7 am (after sending my boys to school). Anyway, my vote for today goes to this quote: Wherever we go...we can always carry those we love tucked within our heart. -- till then, take care, sending virtual hugs from afar
Such a thoughtful collection of uplifting words and images, each one offering a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple joys around us. The mix of wisdom, humor, and your own photos creates a warm and comforting space that feels like a pause from the busyness of life.

The one with the picture of the man holding his back as he walked away caught my eye. It reminded me of how I walk sometimes.
