Embrace Each Moment!
Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all. Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to visit me here! I really appreciate you all so much. My next post will appear on my blog on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Montreal time (clock is on the right sidebar)
For an alternative or backup way to follow blogs...
You can follow me by email. (I only post twice a week). (the email option is at the top right column of my blog). Or...you can click on any one of the following links/websites. If you use Feedly or The Old Reader, or Inoreader you can add other blogs that you wish to follow, including mine, and you will be updated when any new posts appear. Having a backup is a good idea to keep up with your friends and readers. They are all free to use! I hope this helps you all!
Here are today's picks, which I hope will brighten your day.
Life is better with a little more purring and a little less worrying.
Antidepressants. :)
Cabbage chow mein (low carb)
Ingredients: 2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup chicken breast, sliced, 1/2 cup carrots, julienned,
1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced, 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium), 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional), 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon oil
Trees heal...when you sit under or hug a tree, you feel its energy. Studies show that trees positively impact blood pressure, cholesterol and lower heart rate. Trees can treat depression and anxiety and the scent of trees is used as a natural immune boost.
May your day be filled with magic and may you not be too busy to see it.
Little Pine Learners
Sowing seeds of kindness creates a harvest of the heart.

One sip and I go from hiss to bliss. :) Good morning!
The owl, with its silent flight and watchful eyes, reminds us to listen before we speak.
Slow Autumn days are good days.
Protect your peace. You don't have to react to everything. (negative people, judgment, hate, drama, negativity). Stay in your bubble. Not everything deserves your energy.
At the end of the day, all that really matters is that your loved ones are well, you've done your best and you're thankful for all you have.
Used to be rock around the clock. Now it's limp around the block. :)
Did you know aluminum pie tins attract chickadees and finches with their shimmering finish? That old pie tin you were about to toss could become the most popular bird magnet in your yard!
Life isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to be lived. Sometimes it's happy, other times it's rough...but every up and down teaches us lessons that make you stronger.
Every time you feel yourself getting pulled into other people's nonsense and drama, repeat these words: not my circus, not my monkeys.
My house, my yard, my humans. Don't even try it! :)
When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine.
Good night. Let the soothing embrace of the night's stillness guide you to a place of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Sleep well.
The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone. You can click on any image to see a larger view. I took these photos of the moon, zoomed in on it. I am very new at taking photos of the moon, just practicing.
I came across these beautiful Autumn colours as I was taking a walk on a beautiful day!
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy! :)

Some good comforting memes in this post! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMore purring, less worrying indeed!
ReplyDeleteI'll take those antidepressants! Love the other quotes too. The bird and squirrel videos. The picture one, I would for sure scream if a hand came out of the wall. These were all great!
ReplyDeleteCats and trees are good for us! I think that chicken chow mein looks really good. The one about the boxes from Amazon made me LOL - and it's so true!
ReplyDeleteYour photos today are so pretty!!
