Hello everyone, thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you are all doing well. I am not sure about your thoughts on this, but I absolutely love ❤️ to clean and organize. I started my Spring cleaning at the beginning of March because I like to get it done early before the hot weather starts.
It involves purging items I no longer need or use and of course the sweeping, cleaning and organizing what I need and use. I also love to air out my apartment at the same time.
I am not at all good at decorating but I do my best. For me, I am happy when my apartment is clean and well organized as it saves me a lot of time in the sense that I don't have to be looking for things. I know where things are. I also hate clutter and doing the cleaning and organizing keeps things in their proper place.
I also find cleaning and organizing therapeutic in that it keeps me focused on what is important in life. Kindness, appreciation for the small things in life that some don't notice or take for granted. A 🫂 hug, a kind word, a gentle touch, a nice walk in nature. All these things bring me joy and a wonderful sense of peace.

Hi Linda, wish I had your love for cleaning and organizing. I've been battling that in my house for years. I am a packrat and keep far too many things... just in case someone needs it. I stared in the fall to purge and donate things and am making some progress and hopefully as the weather gets better I'll get much more done. I don't want my kids to have to deal with my "stuff" when I'm gone and goodness knows how long this will take me. Every step is a beginning to the end. Hopefully when it's all taken care of, I can sit back and enjoy it as you enjoy yours. Be well and take care xo

DeleteIdeally, I love a clean and organised home, but I have LOTS of stuff, zero storage space, and three indoor cats, so.. It's a mess! 😂

ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, even though it may be cold 🥶 I still open the windows, just less than I would when it is warmer. Here in Quebec (I live in Montreal), we get extreme heat and humidity in the summer and we get wildfires 🔥 which negatively affects the quality of air. For this reason I rarely open windows during the summer. Thank you so much for visiting and for your comment.
