Live Your Life Happily! A Special note on Scammers and Phishing

Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to visit me here! I really appreciate you all so much! My next post will appear on my blog on Sunday at 7 pm Montreal time (clock is on the right sidebar)

****Special notice for my friends and fellow bloggers! I always schedule my posts beforehand, and have done this for years, ever since I have been blogging. I want you all to know that I was doing just that over a week ago when something happened, I have no idea what or why, my post appeared "empty" and I lost the entire post. This was a mistake, nothing I had planned to do, but it happened...and not when I intended it to appear...or how I wanted it to appear. (I had scheduled when I wanted it to publish) Some glitch occurred and I honestly don't know how or why. Anyway, I just wanted to mention this, because mistakes can and do happen at times.
There are scammers and phishers out there, and we should always be cautious of this. But mistakes can happen, honest mistakes, (both by humans and robots or programs), and it is important to realize that not everyone is out to hurt others. I certainly am not! I started my blog to encourage, uplift, help and bring joy and smiles to people, never, ever to steal from anyone, to hurt anyone or to scam anyone. I mention this because sometimes a virus program or robot may consider (for whatever reason) a website or individual to be fraudulent, etc. But it can make mistakes. Many of you have known me for years, you know my character, you know what type of a person I am and you know that I would never do anything to harm anyone in any manner, shape or form. No, I am not perfect, nobody is, and certainly no program is either, and mistakes can and do happen. I just wanted to assure you all that things like this can happen, and yes, please be cautious, because there are people out there that are fraudulent and out to scam others...I am definitely not one of them. Thank you all so much for listening and for your love and support. I really appreciate every single one of you!****

Here are today's selections, which I hope will brighten your day!

Good morning.

"Samantha and Tabitha" by Peggy Collins, Artist

Oven-fried potatoes with onions
Ingredients : 4 medium potatoes (thinly sliced)
2 large onions, sliced, 3 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions: 1. Toss potatoes with oil and seasoning
2. Spread on a baking sheet
3. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit until golden and crispy (about 35 minutes)

It takes real skill to choke on air, fall up stairs and trip over completely nothing. I have that skill... :)

Life is not about being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It's about being real, humble and kind.

You can change someone's life simply by leading with love. By listening without rushing. By holding back judgment. By seeing the good in them when they've forgotten it themselves. Never underestimate the quiet power of your kindness. It matters more than you know.

I barked at everything.  :)

Look at that??? What is it? A human, without coffee; that's scary.  :)

Don't do something permanently stupid just because you're temporarily upset.

Making someone feel seen, heard and understood is...the loudest way to love them.

The trees don't fight the change. They let go, leaf by leaf, in the most beautiful way. Maybe that's what we're being asked to do too. Not all at once, just...a little at a time. - Aurelia Leafsong

Take it off...you're about to need it for a bandage. :)

Good night. Sweet dreams.

The following photo is my own, which I took with my cellphone. You can click on any image to see a larger view.

This last photo was shared with me by my cousin Vince. The lady on the left is my great aunt, May. The lady on the right is my Aunt Eileen, my mother's younger sister.

These last two photos...it was the beginning of the sun setting one evening and I just loved seeing the pink in the clouds.

  2. My favorites today -- the painting of Samantha and Tabitha, the dog being booked because he barked at everything, your beautiful shots of the pink clouds, and the good advice about "Don't do something permanently stupid just because you're temporarily upset."
