For an alternative or backup way to follow blogs...
You can follow me by email. (I only post twice a week). (the email option is at the top right column of my blog). Or...you can click on any one of the following links/websites. Having a backup is a good idea to keep up with your friends and readers. They are all free to use! I hope this helps you all!

Here are today's picks, which I hope will brighten your day!

Please stare into my eyes for one minute. Then scroll down. Thank you. Your cat scan is now completed.  :)

Good meow-ning! (morning) Hope you have a purrfect day!  :)

Biker chicks. :)

I'm so glad I grew up doing this...not this.

Chocolate Avocado Muffins
1 ripe avocado, 1 1/2 cups oat flour, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup honey, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder.

Chia Chocolate Mousse
1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons chia seeds, 2 tablespoons honey.

Happy Birthday  :)

It is only a short trip. Enjoy it.

Even the strongest hands can lose their grip, the greatest of minds can become cloudy and the biggest of hearts can break. So be kind, just always be kind.

Sunday newspapers used to land on the porch so thick they held the news, comics, coupons...everything inside.

I am a (born in 1956) baby boomer!  :)

Chalk dust and cursive letters...that's how we learned to write.

Remember using a wringer washing machine or watching your mother use one?

We didn't have much money, but our parents made sure we had clean clothes, full bellies and good manners.

I didn't mean to push all your buttons. I was looking for mute.  :)

Visited my doctor today. He told me my sugar was too high. So I came home and moved it to a lower shelf.  :)

Love yourself enough to remove yourself from spaces where you are not valued or appreciated. Because being alone is better than being an option in someone's life.

It's a hard truth...one day we'll have to live without the people we love most. A parent, a sibling, a best friend...or they without us. So hold them close. Appreciate them now. Because none of us are promised forever.

There are no repeats in life
Every sunrise is a one-time gift. Every conversation, every smile, every year - once it passes, it becomes part of your story and can never be lived in the exact same way again.
Life isn't a rehearsal. We can't rewind or re-record the moments we've missed. But we can be present, soak in the now and love deeply while we have the chance.

Good night.  :)

The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone...I was at a friend's place and I had to take these photos (aerial views) from her window. The Autumn colours just drew me in! You can click on any image to see a larger view.

There are still some beautiful flowers, which I happily took photos of with my cellphone on one of my walks.

Little sunflowers.

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy!  :)

  2. Happy Birthday, young lady you won't catch up with me, I'm in the founding class of Bummers! And "I'm so glad I grew up doing this...not this!" Yes, "It is only a short trip. Enjoy it" this is the real deal and not a dress rehearsal. "Sunday newspapers used to land on the porch so thick they held the news, comics, coupons...everything inside," those days are long gone! Thank for sharing linda, take care and be well.
