Hello dear friends, I will make my posts on Mondays, on a weekly basis, as I have already mentioned but I really need to post this so that you are all aware of what is happening right now.
First and foremost I wish to thank you all so much for your visits and comments, it really means a lot to me.
My old blog was entitled Linda's Peaceful Place. I had this blog for approximately 5 to 7 years. At that time I had a computer and approximately 800 plus followers which I was and still am extremely grateful for. At the latter part of 2017 I had no computer...and still don't. I do plan to get one soon, though. In the meantime and since I have a cellphone now and only have had this cell for less than a year I wanted to go back to blogging, which I have really missed. I also miss all of you kind 😇 people from way back then so since I lost my last blog due to the amount of time that has lapsed I decided to start afresh...and here I am. Now that you all know who I am, there was a fellow blogger...his name is Lowell and he had an Ocala blog. I remember him and I actually found his blog today but he hasn't posted since 2019. I noticed that he mentioned he had health problems. Do any of you know what happened to him?
I have added a gadget for those who wish to follow my blog but it is at the bottom of my blog...not where I want it to be, but it is there.
I wanted to have this followers button more visibly on the upper right side of my blog but since I am still in this learning curve, I am unable to do it, at least so far. As well, my blog looks a but cluttered and a couple of things...links or gadgets appear twice instead of once.
I want to thank you all for your patience and I really appreciate ❤️ you being there as I try to get all of this worked out.

Laptop sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure if it's possible to use all the edit features on the phone, and even if it is, it would be easy to accidentally do something you didn't mean to do, just because the keyboard is virtual, and the screen is tiny!

Blogging, sometimes I feel like quitting but by the next day I'm posting again. :) I do take breaks every now and then, it does help to keep me going. You mentioned Lowell, he passed away not long after his last post. He had such a wonderful personality and I still miss him.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for telling me. He was a very kind 😇 man and fellow blogger and always followed my posts and made such nice comments. His blog was wonderful and I miss him. I am 😔 sad he is no longer 😢 with us but I am glad to know now. I will look at the link here, a heartfelt thanks.

ReplyDeleteGood luck to you. It is difficult posting from a cell phone and I think some things are just not possible. You have to keep it simple. I usually post from my iPad, but it is tricky. Blogger was designed for computers, and they tried to make it device-friendly but some tasks are not the same. Photos don’t post in the order that I want them to. If I didn’t know HTML, my results would be pretty messy.

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely easier to blog from a laptop or computer than a phone. Still, phone can serve us too. I sometimes read to comments and answer them on my phone, but I typically use a computer to type my posts. It's easier that way. Maybe you can use the laptop in the local library while you get a new one?

ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with that particular blogger although there are quite a number of people (friends) who have disappeared from blogging; I always suspect the worst, especially if they are older and have discussed health issues. I use my laptop exclusively to blog because I don't do well with a virtual keyboard. I make so many mistakes even on a regular keyboard!
