  4. Those mosquitoes are the bane of Southern existence, and their size does nothing to relieve their pesky nature, Linda. Great memes! Hope to hear from you soon at my place. Blessings!

  6. "You know it's hot when even the dog starts to melt" is quite correct. I used to leave a cold dog-pool out on hot Australian summer days, presumably because our hairy black labrador originated in the Newfoundland climate.

  16. Sorry I've been MIA the past few days. For some reason the calendar has been stacked up with 'things' that meant not so much time to spend on the computer. Have a happy Thursday (and thank you for the wonderful quotes).

  38. I like this one "In case no one has told you today...you're beautiful. You're loved. You're needed. You're alive for a reason. You are truly amazing. Have a really awesome day!" I am loved by strangers, my neighbourhood people and I am needed. Like they say, this is a world without strangers. Was it a tagline by a certain apparel brand? And today is a productive and awesome day! Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekends!

  42. Like the Dalai Lama quote. Midges are even smaller than mosquitos but you are always very aware when they appear on any camping trip. Many overseas visitors have asked me in past decades " What are these tiny biting, buzzing things you can hardly see ? How do you avoid them outdoors? "
