These last three photos are ones I took years ago, here in Montreal.
I have no idea what this is called, but I loved the colours.
This is a small church west of Montreal, in the snow. I thought the view was so pretty, the sky was a beautiful blue!
This last photo is of two donkeys that I saw at a nature park years ago. They were very sweet and cooperative with my taking this photo. When I first saw them, they were much further away and not together! Somehow it seems that they wanted to make things easy for me by coming up close and standing side by side. I love donkeys! :)
The following is yet again another Just for Laughs Gag, Juste pour Rire in French, done here in Montreal. Enjoy!
This video is of a Filipino Traffic Cop who obviously enjoys his work! He smiles and dances while he directs the traffic. People even stop to watch him and applaud him at the end. A great example of going to work with a smile and a positive and fun attitude. Enjoy!
This last video is just two minutes in length. This is a water fountain in a mall somewhere. Take a couple of minutes to relax and enjoy!
Thank you all so much for visiting me here! I really appreciate your visits and kind comments. You can leave a comment by clicking on the comment link at the end of my post. When I was in Junior High and High School we used to get posters and hang them on our walls. Your memes kind of remind me of that. Cute pics, great messages! That church is charming and I like donkeys too.
The one plant looks like pipe cleaners!! My favorite quote is the one about not letting someone control your emotions. I had never thought of it that way; I need to remember it!
Buongiorno dall'Italia dalla Toscana regione vicina a Firenze Grazie di essere passata da me e ho visto tanti tuoi interessi che spero tu coltivi con amore arricchiscono la vita e danno gioia
Hello, Linda! You wrote down a great quote of Karen Salmansohn. i have never read her books, although I know her. She is a behavioral change expert, who is involved in empowering people to live their happiest. Thank you for sharing dear friend :-) Have a nice new week ☀
What a lovely collection of images and thoughts to brighten a Monday. The wisdom about happiness and kindness is truly uplifting, and those personal photos from Montreal are beautiful, especially the sweet donkeys. www.melodyjacob.com
Lovely post Linda. I laughed when I saw that dog, 'the tree fainted'...lol Videos are good, the Policeman one is good, can't imagine watching him directing the traffic and me sitting and driving past, it's a wonder he's permitted to do that. Take care.
I love the fuzzy pink flowers but I have know idea what they are called. The little girl with the recorder brings back fond childhood memories for me, thank you. The fainting Christmas tree made me laugh. Have a lovely day, Linda.
One of my abiding memories of living in Québec is the churches that dominated every village. To this day, it’s a pleasure to be driving through the province to see a steeple rising above the outline of a village ahead. We’ll have the pleasure again in September on the way to PEI.
Loved all of these. The video of the dancing couple made me laugh. That looks exhausting directing traffic like that. I wonder how long he can keep that up.
What a beautiful reminder. Gratitude and emotional independence truly pave the way to happiness, just like those sweet donkeys who made your photo moment so special
Hello, Linda I enjoy your post, the inspiring words to live by. The tree fainted is cute and I love the flowers and the donkeys. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week!
The pink fuzzy tail blooms are so pretty...I think they could be in the Fire-tail family of flowers. Such cute memes and quotes and they make my reading for this Monday morning so fun!! Have a great Monday
A lovely post Linda, wise quotes and funnies too. I enjoyed your photos very much. I have always been very fond of donkeys. The church in the snow is gorgeous! I always need a refresher on flowers and your pink ones were on the edge of my mind there. I looked them up in my plant app and it said they were Plumed cockscomb, botanical name Celosia argentea. Thank you for the videos too, very entertaining. Happy day to you dear friend :)
Hello again Linda, just popping back to thank you for helping me with the id on my post. Giving you a virtual hug and wishing you a wonderful day my dear friend.
You find such a lovely selection of good quotes and delightful images and videos. They always make me smile. Thanks so much for starting my day off happily!
Hello, Linda, thank you for this wonderful post! I really enjoyed it and fell in love with the donkeys, the flowers and the little church. Greetings from Utah.
Linda so many wonderful things on your post...I found the video of the cop though the best. It certainly is wonderful to see someone make the most of their job. Maybe he will be discovered by a talent program. Hope you have a blessed day. Adore that beautiful painting of the girl with the flute. Hugs!
I really related to the 'don't let another person control your feelings' it's something I need to work on. Some people just rub me the wrong way and the struggle is real.
Abrazos, Linda.
Love all the kitty pictures :). That second plant is pretty cool, I have never seen aything like it. The church in the snow is a lovely picture. So good when you can go to work and enjoy yourself and bring happiness to others :)
Linda, My wife and I love donkeys too! They are curious and smart. As for that gag in Montreal, I wouldn't want to try it in New York City and a number of other big US cities. It might prove dangerous. No dogs as they demand too much attention and they can't be left alone for very long. Furry travel restriction! Cats are better but then again, half of our family is allergic to them and family visits would be cancelled. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Hi, Linda, I was daydreaming today of Canada. I would love to visit it one day! It's such a beautiful country, and you have some amazing lighthouses in it ;) (I am really passionate about them). "Thank goodness you are here, the tree fainted" made me laugh out loud :) Best wishes from Ireland :)
