The following are my own photos, which I took this month on my walks on the island of Montreal. This first photo is of a mural on the window of a pet supply store.
Another mural, this one was on the side of a building. A bulldog named Tilly. I thought this was so cute. :)
Pigeons in a shopping parking lot. Don't worry, people love them and know they are there. This is a very rarely used part of the parking lot.
This is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) video done here in Montreal. Enjoy. :)
Two Siamese Cats are not Happy! The lady is taking a shower and they carry on the entire time! This happens every single time she takes a shower! You may want to have the volume on low for this one. :)
A beautiful and worthwhile Budweiser TV ad to watch!
Song of the Volga Boatmen (1940's Russian Folk Song by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra)

Speaking of Willie Nelson (first item) a friend posted elsewhere that he just heard Willie in concert. I tink he said Willie was 93 and still doing surprisingly well in voice and on the guitar.
Thank you for all the lovely and encouraging posters and quotes. I read every single of them. The photo you took outside the pet supply store is so cute. The sky photos are awesome.
When we count our blessings, they subtract immediately from our grievances and make our lives more joyful, Linda. How I loved the Just for Laughs and the Budweiser classic commercial. Why did they ever think that going woke could possibly be a good thing? Now Cracker Barrel is feeling the heat. Blessings, my friend!
Don't let the world trick you into believing that you're "behind in life" or that you need to do what anyone else is doing. Life isn't a race, so go at your own pace, and always sing your own song. - Lori Deschene
Linda, the photos of the clouds were just beautiful! And my favorite quote today - Learn to be okay with people not knowing your side of the story. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. I wish I could. I have a problem with that at times.
Hi Linda, apparently my first message didn't reach you. Thanks for visiting the Andy 60s Music Blog. Appreciate. You have a lovely one too. Congratulations! We had a lovely Alsatian called Sandy; when it passed away, we decided not to keep another. It was too heart rendering to experience the trauma... Love animals though.
Don't let this silly world trick you into starving your soul for material things, because someday you're going to be sitting out under the sun and realize how little you actually need to be truly happy. - Brooks Hampton
I like this ☝️ one too. No need to always keep up with the Joneses.
This one ☝️is definitely true With internet, we can have virtual friendship across the world 🌍 Thank you Linda for being our virtual friend halfway across the globe 🌎 making our lives more beautiful ❤️ 🌹 Sharing with us there insightful meaningful sayings and lovely posters.
Love your own photos of the pet shop's dogs pictures, blue blue clear sky and pigeons in parking lots. I am afraid of pigeons 🐦🕊️ because they 💩 on my head once 😂😆 😬🥴😵💫😖
I use this piece of advice often: "If you get tired, learn to rest, not quit." It really works. 🍎 Also "Every day is a new beginning" is inspirational. Moreover, those two go well together ❤️
So cute with the firefly! To sharing joy and happiness, dear friend Linda. I have three black sheep here :-) Wow on the murals! And the sky, too. And awww on the Casanova. And the Budweiser cost me a tear, so beautiful. Thank you.
The little boy in the Gag Video is so hilarious and really a good actor with charm. The cats are a headache to the lady if each time she takes a shower, they are going to make such a din. The puppy in the Budweiser TV Commercial is so adorable, I wish to adopt it and is it a Golden Retriever?
I love the murals! The parking lot near my office used to be visited by pigeons but now that the traffic has increased, I don't see them anymore. I like the information on Meditation. I am thinking of meditating in my garden but I can only do that during weekends or public holidays. Early morning is the best.
The clouds are lovely, hopping from one to another. The laugh one is cute, nice young fellow in that. The other two are good too but those cats would drive me mad.
Dear friend, once again you’ve shared a big dose of optimism, for which I thank you, because here it’s raining today, I have a cold, and besides, everyone in Poland is uneasy since Russia keeps violating our airspace, which is worrying because they did the same with Ukraine before they started the war. The video about Siamese cats is amazing—maybe they’re upset because cats don’t like it when people shut themselves away in the bathroom. Mine also always try to come in when I’m taking a bath or shower, so I leave the door slightly open so they can come in and see that everything is fine with me. Warm regards!
Oh, sigh, there's so much beauty to look at and read again. Thumbs up, thank you! How cute are these murals of the pet shop, and also your cloud photos and doves! I wish you happy days, hugs Elke
The one about resting when you are tired struck home. I did so much walking in London and when I got tired, I rested for a few minutes. It worked great to keep me going.
Another beautiful post Linda, it's just wonderful seeing such uplifting messages and beautiful images. Good to see you have been out taking photos again. The mural in the pet store is fantastic. I like to take photos of clouds to, I think a bright blue cloudless sky can be quite boring. Over here, the endless blue skies of summer mean relentless soaring heat. I prefer a cool day and cloudy skies. Have a lovely day, beautiful friend 😻
I loved the meditation diagram! Fab! Loved the quotes! Sometimes when it's hard, it is difficult to believe times will get better! But let us have hope! The cats in the video are in panic? Maybe they think the woman is drowning lol! These certainly don't like water, I guess!
Hello Linda Once again you've shared some very nice quotes, a wonderful mix. Your sky photographs are beautiful and what a lot of pigeons! Have a happy day and rest of the week.
So good to count our blessings, especially when so much bad is happening. I can't get over how many pigeons are in that parking lot, good they know where to hang that they won't get hurt :) I didn't watch the video about the cats and the shower, because my cats freak out, but our one cat that hubby rescued from outside, cries at the bedroom door if my hubby doesn't get up when he thinks he should be getting up.
I'm not so great at meditating, but a lot of these hit home for me. Counting our blessings, and not having to share out side of the story - interesting!
Hi Linda, love the clouds but guess you know I would. Lots of things here to think about today, very meaningful thoughts. Have a good weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
"When we share joy and happiness, we give two of the most powerful healing medicines in the world." Such a blessing to visit your blog, and especially during this difficult week here in the USA. And that video of the casanova boy at the outdoor cafe! That's a scream! I chuckled several times. Thank you so much for your blog!!!
Your blog feels like a breath of fresh air in a noisy world. The quotes you shared are deeply grounding, and the meditation insights were especially helpful. I loved the pet shop mural and the sky photos—such a peaceful visual pairing with the uplifting words. This space truly radiates warmth and positivity.
Thank you for your kind comment on one of my articles. It's always nice to meet a kindred Spirit! I believe picking a quote, depends on where you are in your personal process. For me it is "Every bird, every tree, every flower reminds me what a blessing and privilege it is just to be alive." I recently reread Return of the Inca by Elizabeth B. Jenkins and it made a big impact on me. It tought me how to be one with Nature. Namaste
Such a great summary of meditation’s benefits! It’s amazing how something so simple can have such a profound effect on both the mind and body—definitely a reminder to make time for it in daily life.
Thank you for the inspiration, photos and pictures today. They were a real blessing. The Siamese cats made me laugh. What a noise they made trying to save their owner from the shower monster. I will miss your posts when I am away.
