The practice of staying present will heal you. Obsessing about how the future will turn out creates anxiety. Replaying broken scenarios from the past causes anger or sadness. Stay here, in the moment. - S. McNutt

Canada...some say we're everyone's favorite. We prefer favourite.  :)

I am not impressed by money, social status or job title. I am impressed by the way someone treats other human beings.

That's what kindness is. It's not doing something for someone else because they can't, but because you can. - Andrew Iskander

I can smell autumn dancing in the breeze. The sweet chill of pumpkin and crisp sunburnt leaves. - Unknown

So often, children are punished for being human. They are not allowed to have grumpy moods, bad days, disrespectful tones or bad attitudes.
Yet, we adults have them all the time. None of us are perfect. We must stop holding our children to a higher standard of perfection than we can attain ourselves. - Rebecca Eanes

Good afternoon. Take a moment to pause, sip your tea, and let the warmth refresh your soul for the rest of the day.

I pray that all the animals that are homeless or in shelters find a warm home with a loving human to live the rest of their days with!

I think it's okay to be exactly as you are today, messes and all.

One step at a time, as long as you go forward, let the leaves crunch beneath your feet and trust the path you are walking.

Dogs lead a nice life. You never see a dog with a wristwatch. - George Carlin  :)
The following are my own photos which I took with my cellphone. These are little signs that you can put on your front door. You can click on each image to see a larger view.

These last photos are of more reusable shopping bags. The donkey and the bird ones were gifts. The donkey one was sent to me from an online friend that lives in England about 10 years ago! It is from a registered charity named Spana that help working animals! I love bags and tshirts from places that help and rescue animals!

These bags do not take up a lot of room because I have them neatly folded away and change from time to time depending on my need (size, for example), and mood. :)

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy! :)

  1. Of course I love the cat sign. And my favorites are from the tiny marshmallows and Buddah Doodles.

  2. Good evening Linda, how is your Sunday? I hope it is all cheery and bright πŸ”†
The little signs that can be put on front doors give out warm and fuzzy feelings. You must be a very neat and tidy person to fold your reusable bags to keep them carefully. I like how you choose your bags to use depending on your mood so that your friends would know about your mood by looking at the bags that you are using.
Have a good sleep soon in 5 hours πŸ™ πŸŒ™

I think we ought to let kids be kids - we push them so hard to grow up.

I can tell how much you love animals. Are you a cat lover?

  12. Oh, Linda, how I absolutely loved the video you shared about the prisoners loving on the cats! How can we hate anything when we take time to simply express love and caring? It changes this whole world for the better. Blessings!

  21. To staying in the moment, thank you for the reminder, dear friend Linda! And also thank you - your scar-quote made me think of my Mom. She believed in me in her harsh way back in the day ;-)
LOL, be my favourite ;-) I once had to "translate" a whole train from American to British English... And then they lost the tender anyways! And yes, impress people by being kind!
Lovely bags. And Oh! The Banana Boat Song!!!! Please, dear Linda, I must share this tomorrow! "Mum" had this on in the car back in the day!
And to second chances... Warm hugs and much love sent your way 🧑
