Here are today's picks, which I hope will brighten your day in some way.

So often, children are punished for being human. They are not allowed to have grumpy moods, bad days, disrespectful tones or bad attitudes.
Yet, we adults have them all the time. None of us are perfect. We must stop holding our children to a higher standard of perfection than we can attain ourselves. - Rebecca Eanes
The following are my own photos which I took with my cellphone. These are little signs that you can put on your front door. You can click on each image to see a larger view.
These last photos are of more reusable shopping bags. The donkey and the bird ones were gifts. The donkey one was sent to me from an online friend that lives in England about 10 years ago! It is from a registered charity named Spana that help working animals! I love bags and tshirts from places that help and rescue animals!
These bags do not take up a lot of room because I have them neatly folded away and change from time to time depending on my need (size, for example), and mood. :)

Good evening Linda, how is your Sunday? I hope it is all cheery and bright 🔆 The little signs that can be put on front doors give out warm and fuzzy feelings. You must be a very neat and tidy person to fold your reusable bags to keep them carefully. I like how you choose your bags to use depending on your mood so that your friends would know about your mood by looking at the bags that you are using. Have a good sleep soon in 5 hours 🙏 🌙
So many good ones today, Linda. I like your bag collection too. I have so many reusable bags and I like getting new to me ones. If I find them at a yard sale, I make sure to look at all of them. My guilty pleasure. 😂
this did brighten my day...i feel happy and inspired!! i have heard about programs where inmates work with dogs, it's a marvelous idea, all the way around. i hope you had a nice weekend!!!

Oh, Linda, how I absolutely loved the video you shared about the prisoners loving on the cats! How can we hate anything when we take time to simply express love and caring? It changes this whole world for the better. Blessings!

The memes are good, I always enjoy reading them as some are so true. The Banana boat song is something else, I remember that one. Just for laughs is always funny and the cat one is a great idea. I like your photos too, Linda.

dear linda, greetings from malaysia again! right now, it's 3.18 pm in the afternoon and it is a public holiday in malaysia for deepavali celebration (indian community- malaysia is multi racial). it is so nice everytime reading your comment at my little blog. anyway, i love seeing all the cats picture in this entry. i'm a cat lover! and all quotes are nice and heart-warming as usual! have a nice day and take care linda!

My pick of the day, "Good things can still happen during bad times. Focus on and enjoy the good stuff." by Karen Salmansohn. I believe, everyone has unhappy memories, we are not alone, no one on this planet earth is spared, just that usually people want to show the better side of their life. And this "I am not impressed by money, social status or job title. I am impressed by the way someone treats other human beings." my pick always. Do you know there are girls who are pretty and super rich/filthy rich, yet they steal from shops in shopping malls time after time because they feel "shiok" and "have the kick" if they succeed in stealing and not get caught. Guess their lives are too boring and in their hearts they feel empty being neglacted by their rich dad, rich mom or family, whatever.
A number of those were perfect for me, as I struggle to start a new work week. 🙃
I also love those signs and and shopping bags! I have a weakness for shopping totes, usually find mine at thrift stores. I'm a bit too obsessed with them...! 😆
OMG, the best collection ever, so far. I love all of them, and even saved three to show my friend. When she's ready... Now she just cries and does'n even want to look at anything, listen to anything ora even talk with anybody. I am so sorry and can't help! It's awful... So double thank you for this set.

This is my favorite for me today ... my 2025 has been a difficult year, full of change. I am not always sure I am walking the right path, but I keep looking up to God to point me in the right direction.
