The following photos are my own, which I took on my cellphone on November 18th. I went to a delicatessen that morning for breakfast. This first photo is thinly sliced turkey breast roast (deli meat)
This was the rest of my breakfast...Swiss cheese, toasted rye bread and tomato slices. I had coffee and water with this. For myself, this is a large breakfast, as I don't often eat enough, to be honest. But I was happy with this breakfast and felt satisfied, not "stuffed", if you get what I mean. :)
These last two photos are ones I took at night in downtown Montreal on Friday, November 21st. I am new at taking photos at night, so please bear with me. :) This one is of a store front...Canada Goose. You can click on any image to see a larger view.

Your breakfast looks delicious! and really fresh. You did really good with the nighttime photos! The tree is beautiful. And the building at night is lovely, I can tell it looks like it was raining. And you turned me into a peeping tom. The store looks like a clothing store. I like the upstairs windows, too. They are colorful.

The car in Canada not starting amused me.
ReplyDeleteHa!Ha! Stay because your car won't start! Many many years ago I had to stay an extra winter's night at Lake Louise because my car would not start! Thankfully the room was vacant for that night! After having my car plugged in for many hours, it finally started!

I'm a breakfast person and grew up on German cold cuts and rye bread, as my father is German. ReplyDeleteWell, there are too many delightful quotes on here to mention my favorite, so I'll just say that I liked many of them. But the "great things" quote really stood out to me. And I always love Mary Engelbreit sayings, especially the ones that she has on her calendars. I buy a Mary Engelbreit every year because it's so cheerful and filled with color. Your breakfast looks simply delicious.

I work as a book translator and strive to be an example to the younger students who want to become translators one day as well and I keep that in mind whenever I am doing my job, that I need to be a role model for them and do it perfectly, that is my message.
