The following photos are my own, which I took on my cellphone this month on my walks here in Montreal. You can click on each image to see a larger view. These were taken on the outside windows of a veterinary clinic/animal hospital.
"Vet et nous" is French for "Vet and us"

The text in the red heart "Comme s'il etait le notre" is French for "Like he was ours"

The text in the red heart "Comme s'il etait le notre" is French for "Like he was ours"

These last three photos...I took them today, November 12th, on my cellphone after our first snow here in Montreal! I love the snow, and it looks like a winter wonderland! You can click on each image to see a larger view.
I will continue to share more of my snow photos in future posts. I hope you enjoy them.  :)

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal! Enjoy! :)

This video is very touching, you may need a tissue. However, it is a true and beautiful story that I just had to share! Although this may bring tears to your eyes, the ending is a very happy one!

Now that the weather is cold, (at least in many parts of the world), we are in the cold and flu season. I hope this will help you in the event of a cold.

  5. dear linda! morning greetings from Malaysia. I have always been in love with snow! the white scenery...truly magical. u are lucky to be born in snowy country! I missed my snow moments when I was staying in Nottingham wayback in 2007-2008 and 2010-2011. 13. You have a lot of good ones this week - my favorite though is:
If you feel hurt by people, you must keep in mind that they are not hurting you because you are you. They are doing it because they are them.
I also watched Fluffy. Not sure why he brought him his phone but it was great.

  49. Děkuji za citáty, které nutí k přemýšlení a v mnohých je pravdy tolik, jako ve víně. 🙇 Na zimní fotky se ráda podívám, ale v reálu ji moc ráda nemám.

  50. I couldn't stop laughing with the skunk and dog prank, and I loved how Fluffy saved his elderly owner's life. Wow! Thanks, Linda, for always making my day. Blessings!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I must say that I didn't read all of your suggestion today. Why? Because I got caught by this one : "If you feel hurt by people, you must keep in mind that they are not hurting you because you are you. They are doing it because they are them." This is so very much ideal for me today that I almost cried. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

  52. I love the photos with the snow, Linda.
I wish you a beautiful evening, my dear friend.

  54. Ahoj Lindo, tolik trefných a pravdivých citátů mě hodně oslovilo. Katka

  58. Hello Dear Friend,
On a positive note, I haven't seen any mosquitoes in months.
Ha Ha Ha... I am still laughing... we are having a warm up and those crazy mosquitoes are out and about. I do not know how they do it, it was 23 this morning, but we are in the 50's now and they are buzzing around. Ha!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Those are really nice ones and we have many wise kitties here!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I slowly scrolled down through the post till I reached this point - It was like peacefully strolling on the lawn, while getting soaked in a steady drizzle of positivity.
My today's pick - hurting you not because you are you but because they are them.

  61. That seems a very heavy fall of snow for so early in winter. It seems so sad to me that after so many months of cold, that the Canadian summer can be spoilt by the swarms of mosquitos.

Great story about the kitten and his cell phone. I took a recent fall and couldn't get up...now I have a smart watch I can use to text or call and have a hook down low where I can hang the watch while I shower--just in case. Makes me feel a lot safer. :)

  82. Oh Linda - snow - so pretty but so early or so it seems. We have had a few flakes with some icy bridges last week...back into the 50's now. As always I leave your blog with my spirit uplifted and good things for my day. Hugs!

Dear linda. warm greeting again from kuala lumpur. we don't have snow but the rainy season has started in few parts of my country..at my place, the weather is sometime cloudy, gloomy and drizzling...anyway, for today i choose this quote: "A holiday is an opportunity to journey within. It is also a chance to chill, to relax. It is when I switch on my rest mode." my lil family and me will be having a short holiday next weekend (still within malaysia) but we'll travel by air (on board of flight) for 2 and 1/2 hrs flight to reach the destination. take care linda. hoping to see more snow photos from montreal!!

  118. You've certainly found a lot of great memes. Loved the look on the cats face talking about before coffee, lol. And no mosquitos. Though I'm not a fan of winter at all and have already started my count down til spring.

  120. Das sind wieder viele schöne Sprüche. Am Besten gefällt mir das Bild mit der Brücke und dem Spruch "Hoffnung ist die Brücke zwischen heute und morgen."

  121. What good is summer warmth if there is no winter cold to give it sweetness? Well said — for a month now I’ve been hearing people complain about autumn, November, and so on. Honestly, I don’t quite understand it; it’s as if we wanted to be dancing or doing sports all the time. One has to rest eventually. You took beautiful photos — the snow-covered Christmas trees are lovely, and those pictures at the vet’s office are moving. Dear Linda, I’m sending you lots of warm greetings!
