I always love your kitty images, Linda! I had a wonderful kitty fix yesterday. My hairstylist brought her two tiny gray rescue kitties in, and I got to hold them for about 30 minutes. They were so soft and purry. Terry doesn't like cats (cat's litter boxes and claws), so I can't have one of my own. Yes, we mutually remember our vets who sacrificed so much. Have a great week!
ReplyDelete😊❤️
ReplyDeleteYou have many appropriate reminders about Remembrance Day.
ReplyDeleteI liked the "Canadian car wash."
ReplyDeleteI like the things on Remembrance Day - a very important day!

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, dear friend Linda... I don´t regret my mistakes. They made who I am today and that´s pretty OK. Now does this sound arrogant?
ReplyDeleteTo all soldiers, Mothers, wifes and kids of them - it must´ve been (is) so hard.

ReplyDeletepatience is a virtue I was not born with
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteToday is our Veterans Day, like your Remembrance Day honoring those who served. I love the Canadian Car wash, cute one. Another great inspiring post. Have a great day and a happy week ahead.
Good morning Linda, 🌻 🌞 here's wishing you a good week ahead 🌹🌹 thank you, from you, now I learn that KFC is PFK 🐔
ReplyDeleteThank you also for the photo of that magnificent red tree 🍁🍁🍁🍁 what a wonderful sight 💞
I hope you are feeling much better today 🙏🏻
Happy Monday, Linda! Love the red of the maples on your walk. BTW, here it's just KFC. 🙃 I think New Brunswick is the only bilingual province, so maybe there they have both!
ReplyDeleteCareful under foot when out and about, especially if your city does as poor a job of snow clearing and salting as ours (sidewalks specifically). I haven't ventured out for my morning before-work walk because we got freezing rain before the snow....and so it begins! 🙄😁
Canadian Car Wash is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThese are great Linda. I have 2 black cats that were rescued. Black cats bring luck and prosperity in Scotland :-D
ReplyDeleteReminded me of the pup we had rescued from the street. We had the pleasure of his company for 17 years - the best!
ReplyDeletethe journey is the reward!! I need to remember this one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Remberance Day to all those loved ones lost
ReplyDeleteLove the moose wash!
ReplyDeleteLest we forget.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
The KFC / PFK bit is very interesting. Hope you have a great week, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThank you. The first one speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this selection of good energy, dear!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week!
Hugs
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteWe have always given homes to rescue cats, so the images you show here are very close to our hearts. It seems that Covid and the cost of living crisis has resulted in many pets being abandoned and so the need for people to foster or adopt is more urgent than ever.
And, in our experience, a pet that has been rescued generally keeps in better health than their more sophisticated counterparts but also are tremendously loving.
The fall colours are a lovely sight.
ReplyDeleteGreat, you really know how to make people happy.
ReplyDeleteYour posts always make my day better!
ReplyDeleteRemembrance day! Respect to all Canadian people who fought for freedom helping other people.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week, Linda.
This cat in the leaves is so gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteLots to enjoy and plenty to ponder upon! Thank you, Linda.
ReplyDeleteHappy Remembrance Day, Linda, and Happy Veteran's Day to all in the USA. I loved the short film of the calf rescue, too. Blessings!

Let today be the day you stop harming yourself with thoughts about the past. You can't undo past mistakes. But you can learn from them and forgive yourself for not knowing better at the time.
ReplyDeleteThe above is the one that I have been working on this entire year. I started a journey to stop harming myself from thoughts from the past at the start of the year. I am going through a study called the Pivot Year. Thank you for the quotes.
God Bless our Veterans!!
Carla
Thank you for sharing, my dear. Seeing the chick having marked the passing days made me giggle. Be well!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Let today be the day we only remember the good.
ReplyDeleteMy very first cat was black, exceptionally intelligent, loved to drive in a car, sat on my shoulder for shopping and shared my life for 20 years !
ReplyDeletenice quotes !

Hello Linda
ReplyDeleteOnce again thank you for a lovely selection of quotes and memes.
I think this week November 11th is such an important date.
We will remember them.
May the week ahead be a good one for you.
All the best Jan
I like the saying about forgetting our past mistakes and move on. Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is ourselves.
ReplyDeleteTwo memes really hit home for me, the journey is the reward and protect your energy. Lately I have stopped answering the phone. And it feels so bad and rude. I hope the feeling goes away after a while
ReplyDeleteBless Dave. Animals do know that nice humans will help if they ask.
The Canadian carwash got me giggling 🤣😂
ReplyDeleteLove black cats as you know already, I've had four in my lifetime...Miss Bear is number four 🐈⬛
Wishing you a lovely Remembrance Day.
ReplyDeletePatience!! Yes. Your Remembrance Day and our Veterans' Day. God bless all who have served our countries. Amen!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you, Linda. Thank you for the lovely photos, video clips, and inspirations saying. I will always remember Remembrance Day and the lovely poem about poppies blowing in Flanders fields, which was written by a Canadian physician as you know. We observe Veterans' Day here, in the US on November 11.
ReplyDeleteA Blessed Remembrance Day to you! Lest we forget... We will be observing Veteran's Day tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your memes.
Querida Linda! Abrazo enorme
ReplyDeleteThe more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you can attract great things into your life. - Roy T. Bennett
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for me today.
God bless.
Thank you for all of these very positive and thoughtful reminders to think of others, and also about "Remembrance Day", which here in the states is "Veteran's Day", tomorrow. Our veterans have given so much for our countries. We owe them a great debt of gratitude. I LOVE the cat pictures, and especially the black cat, since I have spunky black cat named Blackie, who never ceases to make me smile and chuckle a bit at his antics. Thank you for sharing these wonderful thoughts with us. They always make me stop and think, which is a good thing the older I get...to keep exercising the mind! Be blessed my friend.
ReplyDeleteThose are all wonderful and Remembrance Day is very important. We must always honor our heroes.
ReplyDeleteThe remote control in the toilet resonates, our grandson is nuts about remote controls - and hes not fooled by dummy ones either.
ReplyDeleteThe quotes on patience resonated with me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit.
The clip about the cow and calf was sweet.
ReplyDeleteYes, children do teach you about patience!!
ReplyDeleteUno debe siempre respetar y cuidar a los animales. Ten una buena semana.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Babar in that Buddha Doodles meme.
ReplyDeleteThe towtruck gag is too funny!!! Have a thoughtful Remembrance day.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo, amiga
There have been several black cats in my life and there is one now and she whole-heartedly agrees. They are wonderful just as all other cats (I have to add that for the sake of my tabby ;-)).
ReplyDeleteGreat post
ReplyDeleteMy niece adopted a black cat a few years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from Ankara, Turkiye.
Sitting here and now and reading your wonderful Blog the soft black cat 🐈⬛ of my neighbor is lying beside me, searching for some moments a place of peace, because his brother sometimes is very dominant.
ReplyDeleteMany greetings and blessings to you and to CANADA!
I love the animal's car-washing 🫎
I love the wise quotes.
The orange tree is beautiful!🍁
Hi Linda, remembering those who served their country is always a good thing. Today, there will be a parade in downtown Nashua, NH, and as in past years, I will attend it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second picture. It's so easy to get caught in the loop of "what if," but you're absolutely right: the past is a lesson, not a life sentence. Time to take that wisdom, give yourself a break, and focus on the good you can create today.
ReplyDeleteEver cat I've ever owned I've adopted. My Apollo has been with me for 3 years and he is such a dear friend.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy all your bits here and the wisdom they bring.
Hi Linda - all great quotes and inspirational thoughts. We've had Remembrance Sunday here and then today the National Arboretum has a Service today for the fallen and all who served ... a day of thought ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteFull of love
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful pictures and sayings!
ReplyDeleteYour words go straight to the heart. Letting go is also a form of growth just a gentler one.
ReplyDeleteHey Linda! Hope you are warm today. It's lots and lots of snow here today and I'm loving the cozy vibes. Love that KFC makes it special for your area. That's a fun thing. And that one looks cute too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting so many good cartoons and good vibes to go along with. Happy Tuesday and boogie boogie. Cheers, Ivy.
Beautiful inspiring quotes!

ReplyDeleteObrigado.
Bonitas fotos do seu país.
Thank you for visiting my distant blog, which is nevertheless so close. Your world is pleasant... and if you love cats so much, you must be a wonderful person. Everything about you is gentle, calm, relaxing, and stimulating. A real page of good cheer. Kind regards.
ReplyDeleteLindo, moc pěkné, hlavně mě zaujalo to vzpomínání na konec 1. světové války 11. 11. 1918 v 11 hodin 11 minut... Můj dědeček také bojoval v legiích. Vždy, když vidím vlčí máky, vzpomenu si na to. 🙇 👏

Love all the memes and quotes. Happy Veterans Day.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy new week 🌺🦋🍁
Bonjour !!!
Dear Linda. evening greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's now 6.32 pm. I was away (back in my hometown) for 2 days and hence why I was not able to do blogwalking to your lovely blog. I love to see your own picture of autumn leaves...how i wish to be able to enjoy the autumn season (it reminds me of having autumn in nottingham wayback in 2010--long time ago). till then, take care!
ReplyDeleteBelle e interessanti le immagini e le citazioni .

I’m so glad I found my way here — and first, a warm hello to Montreal!
ReplyDeleteIn a world that often feels divided, it’s refreshing to see a space that proudly celebrates positivity. I truly loved this post. If I had to pick one line that stayed with me, it would be: “I now realize instead of growing into my best self, I'm reducing into my best self, by choosing to let go of regrets, fears, worry, doubt, resentment.” 🌸🌸🌸 — such a powerful reflection.
Thank you so much, Linda!
ReplyDeleteMe ha encantado todo. Gracias y besos.
ReplyDeleteA very inspiring collection of memes. I especially liked the one about the leaves in autumn, dancing their way to the ground.
ReplyDeleteWe will always remember them.
ReplyDeletewonderful entries today, i really enjoyed them!! we have a car wash like that at the "great adventure safari"!! hehehe LOVE, "being a good person does not depend on your religion, status in life, skin colour, political views of culture. it depends on how you treat others."
ReplyDeleteMay your night be filled with peace and your heart with gratitude for all the free blessings around us..
ReplyDeleteSuch a thoughtful mix of uplifting quotes and gentle reminders about patience, growth, and character. The blend of humor, heartfelt reflections, and your own autumn photos creates a warm and inspiring atmosphere. A beautiful way to honor Remembrance Day while encouraging positivity in everyday life.
