Let today be the day you stop harming yourself with thoughts about the past. You can't undo past mistakes. But you can learn from them and forgive yourself for not knowing better at the time.

Remembrance Day...we honour those who have given their lives serving Canadians and helping people of other nations.

The person you will be in five years depends largely on the information you feed your mind today. Be picky about the books you read, the people you spend time with and the conversations you engage in.

                           What Will Matter

I now realize instead of growing into my best self, I'm reducing into my best self, by choosing to let go of regrets, fears, worry, doubt, resentment.

Good night. Sleep well. Put your worries aside and have a peaceful night.

To protect your energy...it's okay to cancel a commitment. It's okay to not answer a call. It's okay to change your mind. It's okay to want to be alone. It's okay to take a day off. It's okay to do nothing. It's okay to speak up. It's okay to let go.

Lest we forget...Remembrance Day, November 11th

The following photos are my own, which I took on my cellphone during my walks here in Montreal in October. You can click on any image to see a larger view.

In the U.S. you are all familiar with KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken)...well, as I have mentioned in previous posts, Quebec is a province that uses the French language...and of course, Montreal is in Quebec. Now, this PFK stands for Poulet Frit a la Kentucky...the French version of Kentucky Fried Chicken.  :)  I think the rest of Canada uses the English original name...or may be bilingual.

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal! Enjoy! :)

  1. I always love your kitty images, Linda! I had a wonderful kitty fix yesterday. My hairstylist brought her two tiny gray rescue kitties in, and I got to hold them for about 30 minutes. They were so soft and purry. Terry doesn't like cats (cat's litter boxes and claws), so I can't have one of my own. Yes, we mutually remember our vets who sacrificed so much. Have a great week!

  12. To be honest, dear friend Linda... I don´t regret my mistakes. They made who I am today and that´s pretty OK. Now does this sound arrogant?
To all soldiers, Mothers, wifes and kids of them - it must´ve been (is) so hard.
