Snow in November??? I suppose that's another perk of living as far north as you do, Linda! Your photos are lovely. Here in Georgia, a snow like that would lock us down for days. Charlie Brown's take on Thanksgiving says it all, too. May we live each day with hearts full to the brim with thanks to God! Blessings!
Wow, I love that enchanted teacup video so much! I watched it three times! My favourites are the Hokusai Wave teapot and the Clockwork/Steampunk teapost. I have swiped this video for a tea post I hope to do perhaps in the new year, thanks!
Good reminder in the one about any time could be the last time you talk to someone. You've had a bunch of snow already! I love the just for laugh clip too!
Dear Linda, thank you for the 4 snow ❄️🌨️ photos. I love 💕💕 ❤️❤️❤️💝💖💓💗💞💘 them. Especially the 4th photo. It felt like u are flying above the tree tops when taking the 4th photo. This place looks magical, you are so blessed to be there in person 💕 ☃️⛄
As usual, I'm in love with all the snow pics! snow is always magical! anyway, my chosen quote from this entry: "Why feel blue when there's soooo many other colors you can feel". . have a nice day linda!
I love your videos too. The Gag video made me laugh and I was so mesmerized by those enchanted tea sets. Last but not least, there is the animal in the parrot video, love watching people bonding with their pets and animals. I really enjoyed the videos, thanks for sharing.
Pause is good advice, dear friend Linda.Love the jars! And the directions and yes. Ingo drives to and from work by car... you never know... Wow, all that snow! Oh, and Snoopy! Thankfully all teapot-scenes are beautiful. Poor parrot.... glad she was rescued! Have a great day, much love and warm hugs on the way 🥰
oh what a lot of snow It looks beautiful though I love the quote "The key to emotional enlightenment is the knowledge that only your thoughts can affect your moods." Hard to control your thoughts sometimes though I had to laugh about the Sorry jar
Dear Linda, that is a lot of snow already, but I'm sure you are used to it :) All my cats are adopted from shelters! Yes, we must always hold on to our humanity ♥
Já bych vybrala "Síla pauzy", poslouchej než promluvíš. Hodně lidí mluví, ale neumějí naslouchat. Sněhu máte dost, u vás asi přichází dříve. Přeji úspěšný den. ☺
Linda, this quote "Isn't it scary to know that any time could be the last time you talk to someone? Keep that in mind". It resonated with me because I had a friend who was a cancer patient. We texted and I told him that once he felt better (he had a bad reaction to a new chemo) we would meet up. Next thing I know, he passed in May last year and I regretted to meeting up sooner.
The memes are good and kept be busy reading them, loved the just for laughs, teapots are sweet and your photos of the snow, I enjoyed seeing them, Linda.
¡Querida Linda!
OH, I loved those enchanted teapots for each month! I want all of them! LOL. How beautiful and clever! I enjoyed all of these pictures/quotes today. You find the best ones ever! I also loved the apple tea cup and plate. I actually have the teapot that matches that set! I loved the cats and all the colors and beauty of this post. I always enjoy spending this time with you each week. Thank you for sharing this with us. So refreshing!
I can relate to several of those memes, Linda. You always find the best. Your snow photos are so pretty. We got a light dusting last week, nothing like you did. Enjoy your day!
So many good ones today too, Linda. I think my favorite one is “ The power of the pause...pause before you react. Listen before you speak. Rest before you quit. Breathe before you rage. Reflect before you hate”, which is something we can all benefit from. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
So much snow there! Gosh! We don't get a lot of snow here in Portugal! I loved the Dalai Lama quote about Love and Compassion being necessities! Canadians are so nice, just look at the jars :D I really love Peanuts. I have a compilation book with lots of their comics :) Have a wonderful weekend, Linda!
"Isn't it scary to know that any time could be the last time you talk to someone? Keep that in mind." This touches my soul as so many people have gone from our lives and I always try and remember the last time I talked to them. I hope I have spoken with kindness and love.
Hello Linda Thank you for sharing all the quotes and the videos. I enjoyed seeing your snow photographs ... Here in the UK our weather has turned very cold and many areas have had snow. Stay safe and warm.
I miss snow - although I am sure I would think otherwise if I had to try to work in it for 4 months and more of the year. We are on our 2nd and 3rd rescue cat - wonderful, silly creatures. Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
It's always a pleasure to visit your blog and read every sentence and piece of advice. This time you've shared those beautiful snow photos; it's snowed here too, the mountains are gorgeous. Of all the quotes, this one resonates with me: "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive," by the Dalai Lama. Hugs
I do need to Pause more in life, I am getting better the older I get, but still need to work on it. We adopted one of our cats at a rescue and the other came to us, he was born under our deck and we don't know if momma rejected him or he just wanted more attention but his brothers and sisters would run from us and he came right to us, so we took him in.
Oh, you already have so much snow! It snowed here for the first time this morning, but nothing stuck. The weather forecast says it's going to snow some more... We'll see.
Your blog is a place full of wise and uplifting thoughts and pictures!
🎶🎶🎶 Bonsoir 🎶🎶🎶 Ici journée automnale Aves soleil mais frisquet Je passe te souhaiter Une bonne et belle soirée Suivie d'une nuit paisible Bon début de week-end 💗💗💗Bisous doux Rita 💗💗💗
“Your scars are a sign of hope for someone else.” Beautifully said, and very true. Knowing that someone has overcome the difficulties life has brought them gives us hope that we can succeed too, if we try. Dearest Linda, I wish you a peaceful and joyful weekend!
Good reminder that any time coud be the last time you talk to someone. I also like the Guideposts quote about failure. Your snow photos are really beautiful.
These are all such great and thought provoking quotes. The Canadian one cracked me up. I'm an American but I say sorry all the time, even when something isn't my fault. I had someone run me over with their shopping cart last night and I was the one to apologize. I need to learn to stop doing it so much!
This is a lot of snow! Heavenly greetings - an heavenly quotes, they help me to go my way in peace. Many greetings and blessings from Dori from the Bavarian Forest
I wish I could touch snow. I have never been abroad since the day I was born, and I hope someday I’ll have the chance to visit you all, feel the snow, and play with it. It may sound like a childish wish at my age, almost 55, however I still hope God will give me the opportunity to make this dream come true.
The mix of uplifting quotes, playful humor, and snowy photos creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the reminder about pausing before reacting and the cheerful touches like the jars and paw-jamas joke. The enchanted teapots and parrot clip added a delightful sense of whimsy, and your Montreal snow scenes look magical. This post feels like a cozy blend of wisdom, lightheartedness, and seasonal beauty.
I'm a bird person and I so enjoyed the video of the macaw with the overbrown beak. What a love - ow! My late mother in law and her next door neighbor (who is 92 now and still going strong) both worked for Guideposts many years ago.
Hi Linda, I see from your photographs winter has arrived there as well. Roll on spring. That swear jar will be filling up in Europe fast after the latest USA proposals.
Hola Linda.
Brrr, I'm feeling chilly seeing all that snow, but it does look so pretty. Thank you for all wise words this week. I liked the power of pause - what a better world this would be if we followed those ideas. I hope this next week is kind to you, Linda.
you have done it again - let us have a very positive journey. If I have to pick a key takeaway, then it would be: Don't waste yourself in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good.
Oi Linda!
