The following photos are my own, which I took here in Montreal with my cellphone on January 12th, on a snowy day! You can click on any image to see a larger view.
Blind rescue cow melts every time she hears her favourite song (I cried happy tears as I watched this video, it is so beautiful) The cow's name is Helen! :)

Your blog always make me feel better, thank you. And Yes, I think we can learn a lot from animals and I do. Have a nice week. Ps. Stunning photos, I am a huge fan of snow. :)
morning greetings from kuala lumpur. i'm always amazed looking at your snow pictures! love 'em so much. for today, i choose this quote : Do what you can, when you can, with as much love and honesty as you can, and when you can't, rest.. anyway, this week is revision week for my students before they sit for their final exams! take care dear linda. tq for making time to visit my lil blog. i really appreciate that! sending hugs from afar
Holding on to anger is indeed poison. Yet it's important to learn from the negative experiences and grow from them. I keep thinking that my cat is the least patient of anything, especially around dinner time. You wouldn't want to put her in a meme. :)
Linda, the saga of the blind cow and those who loved her touched me so profoundly. All of God's creatures are worthy of our compassion, love and grace, Thank you, as always, for inspiring all of us to shine the light of Jesus into a hurting world. Blessings!
Patience is critical in this world. I did like this one - Some family trees bear an enormous crop of nuts. - Wayne Huizenga :) LOL - that is my family.
You have a lot of snow where you are, great photos! Take good care of yourself! You've brought us some beautiful quotes here, oh, I love them and your videos, thank you and I wish you a good start to the new week! hugs Elke
All are good memes, attitude, it's always nice to have a good one. Your photos of the snow are lovely, always good to see and when your winter is gone, I will miss your snow photos, Linda. Videos are also nice. Amazing is Helen.
Dear Linda, how are you feeling today? Is your throat better? I hope 🙏 it is. Thank you for your 3 photos taken on your phone. Still so much snow in January. I wonder when the snow will make way for spring flowers. Is that your balcony railings in photo 1? If yes, you have a very nice view. I would love to live where U live. Have a good week ahead 💕
Good morning, dear Linda! Your area is covered in snow! It looks pretty when it's fresh and powdery :) The Mae West quote made me smile along with the picture! Btw, thank you for your most kind comments on my blog ♥
Thank you, Linda, for your words and for always opening up this thoughtful space for us. You can feel the care with which you choose each piece and how the blog supports you day by day. I especially loved the quote about patience, about knowing how to wait without losing a good attitude. It isn’t always easy, but reading it like this, accompanied by an image, brings comfort and encouragement. I’m sending you a big hug and all my encouragement.
Beautiful posts Linda! Having a good attitude in a bad day can change everything :) Canada does not seem fun in winter :D Yes, I guess there must be some nuts in the family tree hahaha! Have an awesome week!
I received a lot of kindness today :-) And I´m really working on patience! Yes on the anger. I keep quiet in those cases... and to colors. Sadly I know not much of my family. Maternal side had to flee from "the Russians" and there is nothing available. Paternal had no intertest. But bet there were loads of nuts ;-) Peanut ("my Squirrel", that gets Walnuts) is/are back, yippeee! Oh, snow. And awww on the Cockatoo-video! And Helen... beautiful. Warm hugs and much love to you.😘
Good thing you don't have as much snow as those poor people in Siberian Kamchatka, Facebook is filled with photos with snow reaching up four storeys high!
Good morning Linda! I hope you’re having a great day! Thank you for sharing these with us today, there are some real gems here. The snow pictures from your area are beautiful. Belinda from Frugal Workshop
Sadly, we all have anger from time to time... BUT, it can be controlled by the Grace of God. We only need to be still and ask God to help us, change us. As always, there are good lessons in all of your post..
I really like the quote about crayons and colors. It all depends on our attitude. If we only harbor anger, we'll never be able to see the world, others, or ourselves in bright colors. Your photos are beautiful. Warmest regards Linda :)
Good evening from Athens, Linda. It's cold these days. It's winter. We keep solidarity and love between us, my friend, I agree with you. You have my best regards. Good week.
This is appropriate for me. Letting go of toxicity, something I found I have been able to do after the death of my mother a few years ago. I feel so much better.

Hi Linda.. you came over to my blog, Pink Paper Cottage, for a visit, so thought I'd come visit you! I love your blog! One of my passions is finding quotes that I have not heard before! You have many that I love. I may take a couple and add to my "quotes" book if I may? I've actually found some good ones in books I've been reading, so always write them down too. I'm subscribing and hope I'm notified, as some blogs I follow never notify me (usually ones by Blogger)... and mine is by Blogger and I never get notified when someone comments. Thank you for visiting my blog.. I love that you live in Canada.. maybe I can learn something... your snow pictures are beautiful too. Marilyn
Leuke blog!
These are great Linda. I love the Jill Ireland quote! She was married to a great Scottish actor before she went with Charles Bronson. :-D
Hope you are doing okay. I am struggling away. People keep telling me it gets easier but it's hard to see it in this moment. Trying to walk a little more now that I can put a little weight back on the left leg.
First Linda - I think kindness is such a good word for the year...I certainly always find it when I visit you here. The story about Helen the cow is so moving. You share such great things. Also your pictures of winter in Montreal is lovely. Take care friend and have a great day. Hugs!
Muy hermosas y ciertas todas las citas, y los videos son preciosos y algunos muy graciosos. Quiero agradecerte tu visita a mi blog. Un abrazo y buena semana.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I love yours-and it really helped me today because I am hurt by how I was mistreated at the drug store today-my husband just had an operation and I was picking up his prescription-I was treated so rudely by the worker-I actually think the other workers were embarrassed by her too....So your quotes gave me some perspective on the situation. Thank you!
Patience is something I really need to work on at times. Thanks for the quotes. I know Eastern Canada is getting way more snow than us. Hope you are staying safe and warm.
Your pictures of the snow are so pretty. I liked the quote, "You can't always have a good day. But you can always face a bad day with a good attitude." And I got a good chuckle from the video of the man's head in the freezer box.

Hello Linda. I found the last video on your blog post ‘United we stand’ particularly relevant to Canada. I wish you Canadians much courage and strength to stand up to Trump. Meanwhile, here in Europe we are concerned about the Greenland issue
Good Attitude, patience, caring, kindness and love for one another, I miss seeing all of that these days, praying we come around to it again. Stay warm and well, hope you are feeling better, continue to pray for you!
Well, the quotes about patience were all written for me. I never have enough. I feel quite cheered after visiting your site. You have improved my day. Jeannie@GetMeToTheCountry.
Very pretty snow! We have plenty here as well. And today I don't have to leave the house if I don't want to so that's a nice thing too. Wishing you a fun weekend ahead. Cheers, Ivy.
The mix of quotes you gathered today creates such a gentle rhythm between patience, perspective and emotional balance. I love how each one adds a slightly different angle, from nurturing a calm attitude to releasing old anger to trusting the timing of things. The snowy Montreal photos add a peaceful pause between the reflections, and the animal videos bring such warmth. This post feels like a little reset button for the day, offering both comfort and encouragement in a really natural way.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me and for your comments. Please use words and not only emoticons. All comments are moderated to deter spam, so for this reason comments will not appear immediately.
