The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone. This is a continuation from my last post...this mall display impressed me so much I just had to take plenty of photos! I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did! Oh, and the French sign means the following in English. "The calm before the storm." Hola!!
Oh, one of the secrets of life is to slow down, look around you and stop and smell the roses......and all the other flowers. =) As for kitty cats, they are a species all of their own. One has to let them adopt you.
..."Everything feels lighter when you're moving through nature instead of being stuck in your head." and "Gardens say, slow down, look around you, believe, hope." Amen to this!!!
dear linda. i love all the flowers pics that u took with your cell phone! they are so lovely. my chosen quotes for today is : Slow progress is better than no progress. Stay positive and don't give up. take care dear linda!
I enjoy your posts-google has my blog so messed up-it does not recognize my blog anymore so can not get to the page to write a post still. but it does recognize me when I comment-craziness haha I am using instagram for now
My health has taught me rather early to slow down, but it can be hard at times not to slow down too much. Of course cats are superior! Gundel just told me so today! ;-)
Good morning, Linda. Yes, a walk in nature always lifts my mood. I love all the pretty floral displays! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week ahead!
The shopping center really made an effort to decorate beautifully with all those flowers—those are all wonderful photos! Your quotes regarding serenity, and approaching everything with a calmer attitude, are excellent; this is a beautifully put-together post. Thank you, Linda! hugs Elke
Wise words, I´m on my way off, walking! It´s raining! :-) Your mall is beautiful indeed. ACK!!! It´s not for laughing. I just stood like that at the grocery with such a darn plastic bag for Ingo´s plums, fiddling about!!! OK, I laughed after all ;-) Cute penguin. But Gordon (Ramsey) I only know yelling! The last one was sadly not available here... Thank you, dear friend Linda, for the morning start here! Much love and trying warm hugs to send over, it´s cold here!
Dear Linda, I’ve chosen the Alan Watts quote: "Only when there is no goal and no rush do the human senses open up fully to receive the world." It really made me think about how much we miss by constantly living on autopilot , always focused on getting somewhere instead of just being where we are. It’s so true that when you manage to slow down, the world seems to become much clearer and more real. By the way, I absolutely loved all the photos you took of the flowers; I’m a huge fan of them, and you can really see the care and sensitivity in every shot. Thank you for sharing these moments of calm. A very big hug.
I love the dog named Gordon who sits up in that unusual way. He's so cute. I think I know why he dislikes plastic: He's concerned about it going to landfills and he wants everyone to recycle.
ˆI like this: "Slow progress is better than no progress. Stay positive and don't give up." I get much done every week thinking like that. There's really no need to be in a hurry all the time and trying to be busy. 🎶 Slowly but surely. Enjoying every moment. 🍏☘️🌿🌲🌱💚
Several really good reminders in today's post, Linda. And the flowers are so pretty! I can understand why you took several photos. Enjoy your week ahead.
A cat is a puzzle for which there is no solution. So are many people :D The grocery bags are broken for sure lol Aw such a well-behaved doggy! Ours just jumps all over us! Have a wonderful week!
Ah yes Linda - such good reminders to slow down and live in the present moment. Your pictures of the flowers in your part of the world are just so beautiful. It looks like you took your own good advice and slowed down to enjoy them and share with all of us. Have a blessed week friend. Hugs!
Magnifica quell'aiuola, hai fatto bene a fare molte foto!
I love taking walks although I should vary my route. Every direction I go has hills and some of them are steep so I avoid those roads. Others have very little shoulder which makes me too close to cars. Right now my cat is meowing in my face because she wants attention! How dare I sleep at night? (according to her)
The Average White Band were Scottish! Love that song, though the Video doesn't work in my region I know it well. My cats run the house, this made me giggle "The way to get on with a cat is to treat it as an equal - or even better, as the superior it knows itself to be." So very true isn't it! :-D
Thank you for these reminders to slow down and enjoy the moment. That is what I am doing right now. Sipping a cup of tea and reading your post and watching more bluebirds on the trees outside my window. They continue to entertain me at various moments throughout the day, and that is so peaceful. Your posts are all such good lessons for me. I appreciate every one of them. Thank you.
I'm again amazed about your findig important themes, dear Linda! Your quotes always go with me through my days. I'm very thankful ******* This is really a miracle: : "Once she stopped rushing through life, she was amazed how much more life she had time for."
Cats really are such incredible beings, Miss Bear and Charlie remind me of that on a daily basis 🐈⬛🐈It's incredible to me being so deeply connected to nature, that there are so many people out there that don't stop long enough to enjoy her beauty.
Hello Linda! I am late to your post LOL! Indeed a reminder to slow down is timely and I intend to have a relaxing weekend. Last weekend was a busy one for me. Thank you for your email, I appreciate your concern. Not to worry, I am well. Oh, I love those flowers and greenery that you snapped at the mall. I love it when malls and other buildings use flowers and plants to make the space beautiful.
Great quotes! I have learned to slow down and not rush chores. My tendency here is to go on and on about how blessed I am but you get the idea. Hugs, my dear.
I can't believe how beautiful your mall is. Once she stopped rushing through life, she was amazed how much more life she had time for. - My favorite for today!
Dear Linda, the flowers are beautiful especially the blue hydrangea flowers. Thank you for the 5 photos from your cellphone of these beautiful flowers. Is it going to be summer soon in Montreal? Will it gets very hot? Please take good care. Hope the results of your bone density tests are all good 👍😊 Have a good week ahead. It is only Tuesday 😊
Gardens definitely do encourage us to Believe otherwise would we plant seeds some of which may germinate in weeks? I enjoy seeing the pretty flowers that you photographed💗
Such a warm and welcoming message to start the day 🌿✨ It always makes a difference when someone takes a moment to slow down and share a little kindness in the blogging world. Those simple reminders to pause, connect, and appreciate each other are what make these communities feel so special.

The gardener has done everything right if even just one person, in this case you, stops and looks at his work and thinks it's good enough to photograph it and draw others' attention to it.
Gute Zitate!
Don't you just love spring and all the flowers that pop up and the warmer temps. I agree we need to slow down, time seems to go by so much quicker now that I am older. Hope you are having a good week!
