So much rain...I'm pretty sure Noah is still building that boat! :)
Good morning, brighter moments await you.
Hope is the light that keeps you going, even when the path is unclear, hold on to it. Brighter days are on the way.
Happy Monday. Have a magnificent day.
I will continue to find the joy in every day.
Chicken in a hurry
You'll need: 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup water, 1 packet dry onion soup mix, chicken (enough to fill a casserole dish)
1. Place chicken in a casserole dish.
2. Mix sugar, ketchup, water and soup in a bowl
3. Pour mixture over chicken
4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour
Did you know? In Britain, a squirrel once got its head stuck inside a Halloween mask and ran around terrifying an entire neighborhood. :)
Good morning. May your Monday be painted with beautiful colours.
Gratitude is the best attitude, especially on rainy days.
Sunflowers follow the sun but did you know...when it's cloudy and gray they face each other and share their energy. Imagine if we did this too.
Excuse me. I'd like to speak to the manager about the lack of snacks on the patio. :)
After listening to his owner drone on for hours, Ralph suddenly realized he was not cut out to be an emotional support dog after all. :)
Have a lovely Monday.
Positivity isn't standing in the rain and saying it's not raining. It's about finding a silver lining in the clouds.
To survive the seasons, you must change with them.
Some of the most beautiful days of your life are yet to arrive.
Good night.
The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone. These photos are to show the colours of the leaves at the top of a tree. You can click on any image to see a larger view.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy! :)

Oh Linda - so much goodness here today. Peggy Collins is so very talented, I'm amazed!
ReplyDeleteThe chicken looks yummy. The squirrel in the mask is so funny and so is that dog looking out the corner of its eyes. :)
I love the sunflowers too.
Have a great week my friend!
Happy Thanksgiving, Linda! I'm making my Thanksgiving meal right now -- roasted root veggies, breaded chicken breast, and a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert! Lots of lovely memes here today, thanks! I like Peggy Collins' cat art and the gratitude ones -- very appropriate for this holiday! Also had a good laugh about the squirrel wanting to talk to the manager about the lack of snacks on the patio! Oops, my timer just went off -- must go turn my veggies now.
ReplyDeleteLindas imagenes.
ReplyDeleteCute cartoons. I went ahead and started a Substack today. Very fun.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a feedly back in the day. Getting all the blogs I follow by email would be for me, way too many. Too much noise. I like to come here when ready vs having my inbox filled.
BUT .... I LOVE that you shared options. Not everyone hates email as much as I do. lol.
monday morning from kuala lumpur. last nite it was raining so this morning, the weather is pretty cool and nice, although haze still persists. I got class at 10 am today. for today, i choose this quote: Hope is the light that keeps you going, even when the path is unclear, hold on to it. Brighter days are on the way....as usual, i like the pics that you have taken with your cellphone, the leaves have nice colour indeed! take care dear linda!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun selection!
ReplyDeleteA squirrel with a Halloween mask stuck on its head would terrify me too!!
ReplyDeleteGood evening, Happy new week
ReplyDeleteI like The Animals performance. I haven't heard it for so long. The emotional support dog made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Peggy Collins' black cat surrounded by pumpkin and colorful leaves is wonderful. "So much rain...I'm pretty sure Noah is still building that boat!" hasn't been our weather lately, but tonight we drive home in the rain. "Happy Monday. Have a magnificent day." I hope that all of your days are magnificent days. Thanks for this wonderful post, take care and be well.
ReplyDeleteI have the ingredients, I sent the photo to my printer. Thank you for choosing what I am making for dinner tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour cellphone shots of the autumn leaves are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for always bringing brightness, even on rainy Mondays. Wishing you a cozy week ahead!
I love your own fall photos!! I also enjoyed all you chose to share with us today!! I did chuckle at "chicken in a hurry" that takes an hour in the oven!! LOL Thanks for the giggles!! Have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where to start. I'm cracking up at some of these. That first cat image is really very nice. Thank you for an enjoyable post.
ReplyDeleteYou know I am a dog person, but the cats you put on here are so cute.
ReplyDeleteI like this one:
After listening to his owner drone on for hours, Ralph suddenly realized he was not cut out to be an emotional support dog after all.
Happy Monday, Linda! Chicken in a hurry looks absolutely divine.
ReplyDeleteThat black cat amidst the orange pumpkins is perfect for the season, and the squirrel in the mask wold have been quite a hoot.
ReplyDeletehope... joy... gratitude... positivity... Mmmmm... excellent words & reminders
ReplyDeleteSunflowers ! Did not know that 🌻🌻 💛 How sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love Mondays and rainy days 😁
Great wisdom: "To survive the seasons, you must change with them."
Have a wonderful week, Linda 🧡

ReplyDeleteHave a great week, my friend!
My, those two paintings of the cats are beautiful. I really like them.

Good morning Linda,
ReplyDeleteI love the black cat and the pumpkins. What a great image.
I listened to the whole song by The Mamas and The Papas, and it brought back memories of past times.
Have a good week, Linda.
Hi Linda! Last Saturday in rained cats and dogs and my food delivery was cancelled >.< That story you shared about the squirrel and mask made me laugh! I can imagine I would be spooked too if I came upon something like that hah..hah... Those leaves you captured are very pretty. I also like the recipe you shared. It looks simple and the name is so apt - chicken in a hurry. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! We had about six months worth of rain in the past week. We're supposed to dry out this week. I love the video about the German Shepherds. They are such devoted, protective dogs.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Thank you for the quotes and lovely photos, dear Linda.
ReplyDelete“Positivity isn't standing in the rain and saying it's not raining. It's about finding a silver lining in the clouds.”
ReplyDeleteI chose this one because it makes an important distinction in a very simple way. Being positive does not mean denying a bad day or pretending that everything is fine. We can admit that it is raining and still look for something that makes the day a little easier. The poor squirrel wearing the Halloween mask must have given the whole neighbourhood quite a fright. :)
A big hug
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful quotes again.
The recipe looks really good too, it’s worth a try.
Your photos are beautiful.
I wish you a lovely week.
All the best, Irma
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
“Chicken in a hurry” that takes an hour in the oven made me smile, I’d like to know what the slow version looks like. The squirrel in the Halloween mask is a good one too. Hope the rain clears up for you this week.
ReplyDeleteOh pretty pretty tree leaves, showing the autumny linings!
ReplyDeleteThe scary face squirrel must have been a hoot!
Love the sunflower fact! Nature is wise!
Have a great week!
What a beautiful animals :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week :)
So much rain... I'm pretty sure Noah is still building that boat! ...Heh heh ..this is just so funny.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that about the sunflowers. I hope you have a glorious week ahead!!
ReplyDeleteLet´s go find the joy, dear friend Linda!
ReplyDeleteLOL, when in a hurry I sure do not want to wait a whole hour - come on, Chicken, bake faster! ;-)
Awwww, poor Sqirrel! Never knew Sunflowers are that clever - let us learn!
Love and hugs on the way!
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the cute critter and memes.
I try to find joy in every day!
The chicken recipe sounds yummy.
The fall colors are slow around my area.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
I enjoyed these very much, Linda, especially Ralph, who was (not) the emotional support dog. Lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a lovely day.
What a fantastic selection. I loved them all especially the cats at the beginning
ReplyDeleteDear Linda, your two leaves photos taken by your cellphone remind me of Claude Monet waterlilies series of paintings. Beautiful 🤩❤️

Your pictures always make me chuckle and smile ... every time!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful nice quotes. I liked that one on gratitude. Indeed it's the best attitude, always. We just need to be thankful for everything that's going right for us.

The leaves are beautiful colored, dear Linda...
ReplyDeleteSo nice, the gag, once more!
Lie(f)s.
Sempre bello passare a trovarti!
ReplyDeletePondělí a déšť = zajímavé téma, Lindo.
Přeji příjemné dny a hlavně buď zdravá!
I love getting inspired by your posts. You find the best content! Thanks for the recipe too!
ReplyDeleteHappy monday (almost thesday)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos as usual.
ReplyDeleteToday's takeaway is - Sunflowers follow the sun but did you know...when it's cloudy and gray they face each other and share their energy.
I am going to keep this wonderful message forcing myself not to fact check it.
My day is brighter because of your uplifting post, Linda. I loved the memes and the videos. Have a lovely week! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteTe deseo una feliz semana. Unas imágenes muy divertidas y lindas. Besos
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles, my dear. Hugs and blessings to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I just love all the little pictures, memes and videos you put onto your blog. So cute! And the cat art is beautiful. My niece is an artist and she does a lot of pet portraits. People often want them painted in intricate costumes. She really has a knack at capturing their true personalities. These cats are so colorful, they bring instant joy. I also wanted to thank you for the kind comments you left on my blog. It was so encouraging. You seem like such a positive person and I am so glad that I was able to find your blog. Have a lovely afternoon! :(
ReplyDeleteThese are great. Chicken in a hurry. That looks so good. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, side eye dog, a classic.
Yes, you did brighten my day. Thanks for the happy pictures.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to Ralph.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda, I hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that in Britain a squirrel once got its head stuck inside a Halloween mask and ran around terrifying an entire neighborhood, what a sight that must have been!
I enjoyed seeing your photographs and I enjoyed the music videos.
All the best Jan
