Purrs of Wisdom with Ingrid KingA cat's kind of wisdom. People wait all day for bedtime, all week for the weekend, all year for a break, all their lives for "someday". But your cat? They nap when they're tired, purr when they're happy and chase joy now. Maybe they're onto something.

Montreal has a beautiful glassed-in conservatory full of gorgeous plants! Very similar to our Muttart (glass) pyramids conservatory here in Edmonton!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, and great photos!
ReplyDeleteGood evening, excellent post Linda-I appreciate the time it took to put this all together Loved the flowers too
ReplyDeleteOur cool down is beginning-finally-smiles

The video you shared proves that laughter is contagious, Linda, no matter where you are. What fun! I loved your photos of the flowers, too, and I think you may have identified them correctly. My dad was a botanist, and I wish I had paid more attention to his knowledge when I had the chance. Have a blessed week!

ReplyDeleteI like a lot of those! My favorite tonight is - Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude (and my mouth shut) while waiting! I NEED TO LEARN PATIENCE.
ReplyDeleteI am also like you - I don't know the names of the flowers, but I do know they are pretty.
So many beautiful words of wisdom. :) A lovely post! All the best for a beautiful week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes! I love esp. the one with the patience!
ReplyDeleteSo much here to love. The rats are unreal. I love the pink flowers. My other favorites are ...what happened is done, and the quote from Healthy Place.
ReplyDeleteVery true on not letting what I can't do get in the way of what I can. I love that. Love the flowers too. Sooooo fun to take pictures.
ReplyDeleteI like the Jimmy Buffett quote best. Those lilies are Arum lilies, not Calla. And yes, the yellow flower is a Hibiscus. I love a good sized greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the Westmount Greenhouse are so beautiful! The posting is wonderful , all the fun and Something to think about and fulfill for the soul! Thank you and have a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeletehugs Elke
I love all your quotes, Linda. So much wisdom! The first big pink flower is called Aechmea, I think the pink flower is a Gerbera, the red/ pink one is an Anthurium/ Flamingo flower, the big pink flower is a Medinilla, the red one is a amaryllis, and the yes it'a hibiscus! Thank you for the lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I could spend hours in the greenhouse because I love plants! I even spotted a banana tree. The flowers are so lovely. Love the quotes and my favorite has to be Karen Salmansohn's. Oh... those rats are nothing like the ones I see at the back alley of my office and sometimes near my home! Laughter is indeed infectious and I do love a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate your inspiring post, words to live by, Choose joy and be happy now. The greenhouse plants are lovely. Take care, enjoy your day!
