Celebrating December and Christmas!
Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you so much for taking the time to come and visit me here! I really appreciate you all!
I will continue my blog posts throughout the Christmas holidays! So every Monday and Thursday, including all of December into January 2026, there will be a new post! Some people feel lonely, depressed or stressed at this time of year, and I hope that my posts will offer some brightness, comfort and joy! Thank you all so much for your love and support, it really means a lot to me!
Here are today's picks, which I hope will brighten your day.
No matter how much the cats fight, there always seem to be plenty of kittens. - Abraham Lincoln :)

Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence. - Unknown
Never discredit your gut instinct. You are not paranoid. Your body can pick up on bad vibrations. If something deep inside of you says something is not right about a person or situation, trust it.
Moving on can be scary and painful but it's not as hard as staying when you know it's time to go. Remember, you're stronger than you think.

Nothing is more important than empathy for another human being's suffering. Nothing. Not a career, not wealth, not intelligence, certainly not status. We have to feel for one another if we're going to survive with dignity. - Audrey Hepburn
The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone in November. The first two...I had breakfast at a delicatessen, and I ordered two sunny side up eggs with tomato slices and rye toast, coffee and water. I always order my toast without butter, opting to put the butter on myself, because I like my toast crispy and not soggy.
I took this photo on November 12th in downtown Montreal. This was a Christmas tree in a shopping mall.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French), done here in Montreal. Enjoy! :)

Dear Linda, your 3 photos taken with your cell phone look really good ππ wow, so early Nov 12, the Christmas π tree is ready to give Xmas cheer to shoppers. I love your toasts and eggs as your eggs are done nicely ππ€€
Good evening Linda, I am just guessing you have eaten your supper or dinner now. Just would like to wish you a good night sleep with sweet dreams π π€π΄
What a lovely blog post! I enjoyed the videos, and oh! how I love Anne Murray. When my children were little, we had a tape of Anne Murray singing children's songs. We listened to it in the car many times.
This is such a beautiful reminder that no one is alone, especially during the holidays. Thank you for spreading love, warmth and hope. Your posts always brighten my day!
Wise advice from that snowman! And yes, laughter is so infectious, isn't it. "Snowbird" is still my most favourite Anne Murray song. I've loved it ever since I first heard it in 1970 -- yikes, 55 years ago! The arrangement and instrumentation of that song are as beautiful as her lilting voice. I also remember watching Anne Murray on CBC's "Singalong Jubilee" before she hit it big.

If only more people in power believed that!X. But that doesn't stop us from doing it.
Happiness does begin with a smile, Linda. As I watched the Coca-Cola video, I reflected upon the contagious effect that laughter has on our very being. Thanks for your inspiration shared here, my friend. Blessings always!
Dear Linda, afternoon greetings from Malaysia! I love seeing your bread/toast pic..looks so yummy, especially u put butter on your own to maintain the crisp part. anyway, my chose quote for today is : Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence, and face your future without fear....indeed!! life must go on and we need to live it to the fullest! have a nice day, take care, #virtualhugs from afar
