Cool Funny Quotes
The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone here in Montreal on February 12th. It was a beautiful day, -4 Celsius and sunny! I love nature, as you all know, and when I saw these pigeons I decided to take a couple of photos of them. You can click on any image to see a larger view.
I bought these two Canada tshirts last year at Dollarama for just $5.00 each! Yes! And they are 100% cotton!

Oh, I love that one with Michael J. Fox! I actually say, "It is what it is" daily. Those that know me know that is my saying. Truly...it is the truth! :)
Hi Linda - I really enjoyed the quotes on acceptance - I think when we drop expectations and accept our lives and all the goodness there is in them, we learn gratitude - and that leads to contentment and quiet happiness.
Oh yes, I'm a big believer in the value of humour and laughter as ways to deal with life. In this life we can either laugh or cry, and laughing is better! I stole that cute "hare-plane" meme too for use at Easter, thanks!
Some of the quotes today made me laugh and there is even a quote on the benefits of laughter! I like the tshirts you bought and I prefer 100% cotton too.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away - if you throw it hard enough! 🍎 LOL (although I wouldn't want that to actually happen) 😀 My husband tells me that last night I was laughing in my sleep round 2 am. 😀 Much better than having nightmares. Thank you for today's picks ❤️
The sun and the snow make everything so bright and radiant, and the doves! Great photos, the shirts look fantastic with the lettering! Great quotes that cheer you up, and the videos, thank you! Have a wonderful days, hugs, Elke
There is nothing like a good old laugh to brighten up the day. Like that apple..lol took my fancy, Nancy. Was a laugh when the dog opened that door. Your photos are good of the pigeons.
If you live for people’s acceptance, you will die from their rejection.
Thank you, Linda, for your new post and for all the quotes you’ve chosen so thoughtfully. You know I always like to pick one, the one that truly speaks to me, and this is the one I choose today. This one hits me because I see myself in it. How many times do we do, say, or keep quiet about things just to fit in, to avoid making waves, to be well regarded? And when that approval changes or disappears, it hurts more than it should. That’s when you realize you placed your heart somewhere far too fragile. Living dependent on applause is exhausting. Depending on it is even worse. This quote reminds me that peace cannot be placed in other people’s hands. If who I am depends on how I’m received, I’m on shaky ground. It challenges me to be freer, more consistent, even if that sometimes means not being liked. A big hug, and my encouragement for each day.
I like those tshirt, Linda: good price, considering they are 100% cotton. Beautiful photos of the pigeons looking for food on the snow. Have a nice new week ❄
"Cats randomly refuse to follow orders to prove they can." So important! You must not follow anyone just for a kind of peace, which is no real peace. Many greetings from Dori from the snowy Bavarian Forest to these lovely doves in Canada!
Very wise quotes, only with laughter I don't agree, because when I have really a sad day (inside) I laugh more then usual (outside). The dog and the rat are too cute !
Happy Monday and thanks for the morning chuckles with all the words of wisdom! Ooh, I love Dollarama! I didn't see the grey tee here last year, I will have to look when they get their Canada Day stuff in! 🇨🇦
Such a gentle reminder that laughter and acceptance can brighten even the simplest days. I love the thought that a smile can soften life’s heavier moments and help us meet one another with a little more kindness. Thank you for sharing this pocket of warmth, it truly feels like a quiet encouragement to choose lightness whenever we can :)
I like your theme today Linda, Laughter. Yes, laugh more, worry less! This is a good one. Research has shown that laughing for two minutes is just as healthy as a 20 minute jog. So now I'm sitting in the park laughing at all the joggers. Your two Canada T shirts are good buys. Oh yes, I have so many clothes that I do not need to buy any more. Lol !
Oh, Canada!! An amazing price for the t-shirts! So many great quotes but the one that gave me a laugh: "Just because you are miserable doesn't mean you can't enjoy life."
Hi Linda thanks for your comment. I am in South Africa at present touring some of the game reserves. Eventually I will do a couple of blogs but at the moment no time for anything!! Cheers Diane
A saying goes: laughter is the best medicine. And I think it is better to laugh one time to much as to cheat and grumble all the time. Even if the world is nothing to laught at at these times...nevertheless a smile on your face makes everything a bit brighter. Thanks for your kind visit to my blog dear Linda. All the best Violetta

Laughter is always the best medicine, Linda. Loved your sweet photos of the pigeons in the snow and your T-shirts. As always, Just for Laughs tickled my funny bone. Blessings!
Hello Friend, thank you for the quotes. So many spoke to me today. I love the photos of the pigeons. I saw some on Saturday roosting up under a bridge. Carla
Love the Victor Hugo quote. I also enjoyed his poetry as a French major at my university. Cats do think they are special--which they are, according to my Mari! :)
Yes, I can agree with all this quotes belong to laughing. By the way I made a seminare with Laughter yoga. A special form that I experienced in Nuremberg before the coronavirus pandemic. I can recommend it!
To laughter and acceptance! And to throwing apples! Doctors... tell me about them! Acceptance is difficult at times... I like the Jewish Proverb. Also cause... I am half German. My German part hid Jewish people in WWII, which I am very proud of. My Jewish and Muslim colleagues on Easter brunch stood together and chatted about food - THAT is lovely. Is that the third step, action? LOL on the joggers! I sadly cannot watch your videos due to limited data...
Laughter definitely is good medicine (it even tells us so in the Bible--Proverbs 17:22).. Your just for laughs video about the dogs was so funny it had me in stitches. I watched twice and saved it.
I like the one about laughing at the joggers :). my husband loved how I laughed at all his jokes, and he hasn't stopped making me laugh :) We have an invasion of Starling birds right now, they come every year, it's amazing how many there are. Great deal on your shirts!
Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your 4 photos. I am afraid of pigeons so I don't go near them because I am afraid that their droppings may fall on me.
I enjoyed this, as I always do with what you post. The song by the Irish Rovers is one I've not heard in a very long time. I love their harmony and the phrase, "... humpty back camels" has always made me to smile whenever I hear it.
i love seeing the pigeon, and the snow of course!! for this entry, i choose this quote: The test of courage comes when we are in the minority. The test of tolerance comes when we are in the majority. take care dear linda!
Your post feels like a little burst of warmth in the middle of winter. The mix of humor and reflection works beautifully, and the quotes you chose really highlight how laughter and acceptance can shift the weight of a day. The pigeon photos add such a peaceful touch, and those Canada shirts were a great find. I left this page feeling lighter and smiling at more than one of the jokes.
