Butterflies rest when it rains because it damages their wings. It's okay to rest during the storms of life. You will fly again when it's over.
Never underestimate the valuable and important difference you make in every life you touch for the impact you make today has a powerful rippling effect on every tomorrow. - Leon Brown
Pass It On, The Foundation for a Better Life
The people who do not want to recognize the "you" in a relationship usually deeply fear that if they take responsibility for their impact on other things, they will lose their "me". And as a result, their life will always be painful.

Kindness is loaning someone your strength instead of reminding them of their weakness.

Unlike service dogs and emotional support dogs, therapy dogs are not used to support one person - they comfort many people as they go about their visits.

Fact: you can't identify a "real" service dog team by their appearance. Not all disabilities are visible. Just because a person doesn't "look like" they have a disability doesn't mean their partner isn't necessary or "legit". - Pawsable

Such wise quotes to reflect on, on a Monday morning (my least favorite day of the week LOL!). Linda, those white flowers you captured on your phone are so lovely! And the red tulips are gorgeous!
I like that one about there always being a reason to smile. It reminds me of a quote I've always liked - "there is always, always, always something to be thankful for". That's so true, even when we need to look a little harder than usual. Therapy dogs used to come to my place of work when I was a unit manager at a skilled nursing facilities. They were a blessing to the patients and to us too!
morning greetings from kuala lumpur! i love seeing the picture of tulips that u share here...co-incidentally, my blog entry today is also about tulips at keukenhof, netherlands. thanks for dropping your comment at my little blog. for today, i choose this quote: There is always a reason to smile. My Nan always said that a smile doesn't cost a thing....so true. One can always visit you, lovely Linda, read your sweet quotes and leave with a smile in one's heart. Thank you, lovely lady.
Linda, your quotes are always so uplifting and interesting. The one about butterflies resting in the rain is my favourite—it’s such a tender metaphor for allowing ourselves to rest during life’s storms.
