Such wise quotes to reflect on, on a Monday morning (my least favorite day of the week LOL!). Linda, those white flowers you captured on your phone are so lovely! And the red tulips are gorgeous!
I like that one about there always being a reason to smile. It reminds me of a quote I've always liked - "there is always, always, always something to be thankful for". That's so true, even when we need to look a little harder than usual. Therapy dogs used to come to my place of work when I was a unit manager at a skilled nursing facilities. They were a blessing to the patients and to us too!
morning greetings from kuala lumpur! i love seeing the picture of tulips that u share here...co-incidentally, my blog entry today is also about tulips at keukenhof, netherlands. thanks for dropping your comment at my little blog. for today, i choose this quote: There is always a reason to smile. You just have to find it... take care dear linda!
My Nan always said that a smile doesn't cost a thing....so true. One can always visit you, lovely Linda, read your sweet quotes and leave with a smile in one's heart. Thank you, lovely lady.
Linda, your quotes are always so uplifting and interesting. The one about butterflies resting in the rain is my favourite—it’s such a tender metaphor for allowing ourselves to rest during life’s storms.
I am happy that I found your blog; there is so much optimism in your posts, which I miss in our bloggers. I am a great optimist myself, I love life, everything that smells of beauty. Welcome to my page as well, and I wish you a nice Monday! Best regards from my beautiful Slovenia and a hug, Andreja
The tulips are beautiful—and so are your other photos; it is wonderful to see everything in bloom right now. The quotes and words of wisdom are lovely once again, and so important to read—thank you! Have a good time. Hugs, Elke
Memes are good, some really make you think. The flowers and blossoms are lovely. Richard Clayderman is lovely playing the piano, I have is music book and also play the piece in it. Just for laughs, just imagine pulling the lid off that saucepan and seeing ahead...lol
Coucou Linda, Et pour parvenir à se préserver, il faut aussi savoir s'éloigner des médias. Superbes les tulipes, chez moi elles sont fanées depuis un moment. Bonne journée
In a world of turmoil, a calm mind is the only sanctuary. Worry is like sand in an oyster: a little produces a pearl, too much kills the animal. Such beautiful blossoms! Love Richard Clayderman's Ballade pour Adeline. He plays it so well! Have a wonderful week!
Hi Linda, Thank you for such a lovely and uplifting post! Your collection of quotes always brings a perfect moment of serenity to the day. The metaphor about butterflies resting during the rain is beautiful and such a gentle reminder for all of us to take a breath during life's storms..love the tulips photos too
The tulip is my favorite flower so those photos lift my spirits. Thanks for posting about the blogger issues. I didn't really know what was going on. I thought some of my friends had abandoned me, but I also wasn't seeing their posts.
Dear Linda, are the white flowers, cherry blossoms ? They are beautiful 😻 My country doesn't have cherry blossoms so we travel to nearby countries just to admire these cherry blossoms 🌸🌸🌸
Dear Linda, the 3 photos of tulips 🌷 🌷🌷 are so lovely. I hope I can see real tulips one day 🤞 you are so blessed to see all these pretty flowers in real life ❤️ Have a good week ahead 💕
I chose the quote about butterflies resting when it rains because I think we often forget that stopping and resting is also part of moving forward. Not everyone knows how to give themselves permission to pause when life gets difficult. And your posts always have something calm and comforting about them. You stop by for a moment and somehow leave feeling a little more relaxed than before. By the way, your flower photos turned out beautiful. The colours of the tulips bring a real sense of peace and joy. You can tell you truly enjoy taking those photographs. A big hug, Linda.
Gosh, Linda, there's just so much good stuff here today! (as always!). It's nice to see some Doggies too, along with the sweet kitty cats. And your photos of the flowers are gorgeous! I always come away from your posts with a sense of peace and thankfulness. Thank you for taking the time to find these quotes/memes and sharing them with us. You do a great job of organizing them into themes. Have a wonderful week!
Hello Linda, I always enjoy the inspiring words and images. Beautiful flowers, they are a cheery sight. Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
..."Focus on breathing and staying in the now, treating each moment as a personal decision for peace." - Venerable Ratanaguna, I couldn't say it better myself.
What an uplifting way to start to Monday morning Linda. Beautiful flowers, and quotes too. And how true about rescue dogs. If we could all forgive and forget and move forward like they do. :) Happy new week to you.
Looks like an apricot or apple tree in bloom! The tulips are so gorgeous! Blogger has been very naughty lately, hope they fixed it up soon because many people actually earn money through views and visits. Mine are a third lower than usual.
Hello Linda, thank you for the warm comment you left on my blog. I can’t believe it took me this long to stop by your blog again. It’s wonderful to see that you’re still spreading positivity through your writing, including this lovely post. Hope the remainder of your May is full of good moments! 💗
A gentle and meaningful reflection — it connects nature’s vulnerability with a very human truth in a simple, memorable way. The idea of pausing during difficult periods and trusting that strength returns afterward is expressed here in a calm and reassuring manner, without forcing the message, which makes it feel especially grounded.
I love your flower photos, Linda, and I really got a kick out of the "Just for Laughs" prank. Yes, animals can always show us the unconditional love that makes life worth living. Blessings!
These are all so good and very relative to me right now. Thanks. I'm just hanging in there...with my emotional support dog. Not certified, but she is to me.
Lovely photos Linda. I have to say I really loved the Robert Wagner quote, I didn't know it. I just googled him and he is still alive, 96. I have always said that no one will love you more in this world than your dog <3 Animals are just the best :-D
Dearest Linda, Your posts are always a treat from their start to the end! Your pills of wisdom are outstanding: even butterflies can teach us something, indeed, how to live! And how about the red tulips in your shots? I've never see so many poppies all together! Thank you so much for everything you share, sweet Friend. XO Daniela @ ~ My little old world ~ (Dany)
I have found that when you are deeply troubled, there are things you get from the silent devoted companionship of a dog that you can get from no other source. - Doris Day (or other pet as well)
I loved the one above, so true my dear Linda. I always love when you share flowers. xo Carla
The blossoms are beautiful, Linda. My favourite is "There is always a reason to smile. You just have to find it", I find that here on your blog. Thanks, Linda.
How we treat animals certainly says a lot about us. My cat is such a loving companion. She doesn't talk, but she communicates nonetheless. What beautiful tulips! Mine are all gone now.
To make a difference in someone's life doesn't mean that we have to do something big...it's the simple things that can truly meet needs. Thank you sweet Linda for this reminder.
dear linda...morning greetings from kuala lumpur. today i have 4 hour class and there is an event to attend in the evening to celebrate dean's list students...for today, i choose this quote: Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything or to do anything in particular, but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported...take care dear linda. warm regards and sending virtual hugs from malaysia!
Uplifting and inspirational as usual. Thank. you. I may have gotten a little bit triggered by the one about the service animals. since I live in a pet free apartment building with over 85 "service dogs" who pee and pooh on the building , in our hallways, and elevators and the owners do not pick up after their service dogs. I am all for those who really need them.. but there is a lot of fraud too..ok I've said my piece... Have a great week.
Boa noite minha querida amiga Linda, canadense de Montreal. A minha reflexão preferida de hoje é " Em um mundo conturbado, a mente calma é o único refúgio". Uma excelente noite de segunda-feira e um grande abraço do seu amigo carioca.
I am also getting the titles of some blog friends a little later too. I'm wondering if it will be resolved soon. Those red tulips are marvelous. Thanks for the smiles today, Linda.

I'm here - just late. My favorite that hit me today is: Butterflies rest when it rains because it damages their wings. It's okay to rest during the storms of life. You will fly again when it's over.

I like the quote about "resting in the strom and waiting for it to pass", better than worrying the whole time :) Those white flowers against the green grass is so pretty, and the red tulips are just lovely. I thought of you when I was leaving my doctors office today and there were blooming flowers outside.
This quote... I needed to read that today. "Butterflies rest when it rains because it damages their wings. It's okay to rest during the storms of life. You will fly again when it's over." Thanks for sharing. The tulips are beautiful.
"The people who do not want to recognize the "you" in a relationship usually deeply fear that if they take responsibility for their impact on other things, they will lose their "me". And as a result, their life will always be painful." - I once knew just such a person. You have taken beautiful pictures of the flowers.
Hello lovely Friend! I alway love the inspiration you share. It just makes me smile. The tulips are stunning by the way! Yay for summer around the corner and everything blooming bright and beautiful. Blessings xoxo

ReplyDeleteOh my what lovely flowers! And in such large clusters.
ReplyDeleteI like this quote: Worry is like sand in an oyster: a little produces a pearl, too much kills the animal
This quote... I needed to read that today.
ReplyDelete"Butterflies rest when it rains because it damages their wings. It's okay to rest during the storms of life. You will fly again when it's over."
Thanks for sharing. The tulips are beautiful.
"The people who do not want to recognize the "you" in a relationship usually deeply fear that if they take responsibility for their impact on other things, they will lose their "me". And as a result, their life will always be painful." - I once knew just such a person.
ReplyDeleteYou have taken beautiful pictures of the flowers.
Olá Linda!
