hi linda! today i choose this quote: Birds chirping around you is a beautiful realization that life is incredibly good. Let this sound be a gentle break in your routine.... take care and sending warmest regards from kuala lumpur! I have 4 hour class today, off to work shortly (Now still at home while i'm reading this entry)
...Linda, you assembled a wonderful collection, but "In a nation of sheep, one brave man forms a majority," jumped out at me. This sums up things here!!!
I found your photos very interesting, Linda! The first one is like a scarecrow, can be scary coming across it at night! (I watch too many horror movies!). The second photo looks like a green brain! Or an alien life form (again too many movies. LOL!) Is it growing on a tree? And the last one, those plants that look like roses, I believe they are a type of cactus? Very pretty. I also love today's quotes especially the first one. I love cats!
Great advice from the deer! I also liked the one about the birds singing. Just a few days ago I was walking in the woods and the only sound was the birds and I was just so blessed by it! The Muppets! Mahna Mahna always makes me smile. Thanks!
Beautiful collection of quotes, Linda! The one about birds chirping really resonated with me.. it's such a lovely reminder to take a gentle break in our daily routine. Thank you for always spreading positivity!
It's always a pleasure to visit you, Linda! I alway find so many quotes that I can relate to...and I really enjoy peeking at the photos you take! I hope you have a lovely week!
"If your peace depends on everything going right, that's not peace, that's control. Learning to be steady in uncertainty: that's real growth." Amen to that!
"Make someone smile today." - YES 🧡 I do that every day 🧡 🤔 Overthinking . . .. I hear what you're saying but I want to add that I just love thinking and pondering HAPPY THOUGHTS. Have a lovely day 🌺 Linda and all of you !
Loving the animal-themed quotes today, Linda! Animals are my friends ♥ Your photos are fascinating. My favorite are the succulents. Have a beautiful day!
I was particularly drawn to this quote: "If your peace depends on everything going right, that isn't peace, it's control." There is a lot of truth in that. Life rarely follows the script we have written for it. I also loved the photographs. The first one completely puzzled me. I spent quite a while trying to figure out what it was. My best guess is that it's one of those strange growths that sometimes appear on trees and end up looking like a sculpture created by nature itself. Whatever it is, I found it fascinating. And I must say once again that your videos are always wonderful. They manage to capture a little of the calm and beauty of your walks around Montreal. A big hug, Linda.
The question is, though, what overthinking is. Don't slide to not thinking about the world's problems, people. In fact, do think about them. Ignorance is the first step to apathy, the one thing that seemingly gets rewarded in our grossly inegalitarian society.
Cool sculpture. The tree looks as if it might have some sort of problem? Doesn't look natural or rather pleasant. The succulent garden is gorgeous ❇️🥀❇️
It looks like a human figure shaped from your photo. Great photos of the plants!!! Your animal quotes are so wonderful—and your fantastic videos, too! Thank you, Linda. Have a wonderful week! Hugs Elke
Those suculent little plants crown looking in the last photo are houseleek, they are extremely valued and popular here in my country as you can use them for healing skin, wounds, even ears using their juice like aloe vera. It grows naturally even on roofs and we always nurture it carefully as it gives us health. Cancer stricken people even nibble on it.
It's fascinating how, when we seek wisdom, we often turn to animals—from learning how to fly airplanes by observing nature to the philosophies and qualities we associate with different creatures. It truly shows how deeply connected we are to nature. Thank you for everything you share with us. Your posts often give us something to reflect on and carry with us throughout the day, making it a little more meaningful and enjoyable.
Hahah, "some horses take forever doing their hair. They're high mane-tenance" :) In a nation of sheep, one brave man is quickly silenced! Covid proved this! I think you photographed a burl in a tree. It's many times valued for furniture making. The "rock roses" has we call them here (succulents) are so pretty! Have a nice weekend!
These are all so nice. I have to differ with one, though. Dogs can feel shame. When my poor doggie had an accident at night, she was very upset and ashamed. Poor thing.
Lindo, je to krásné, inspirující.
As always, these pictures/quotes/videos got to me. I especially loved watching the black cat video, since I now am the mother of a black cat. Our Blackie isn't quite a vocal as that one in the video, but he will talk when it's time for food. He does love to follow me around and sit with me in the garden, which I find very comforting. We listen to the birds singing together. Thank you for this post. It spoke to my heart today.
Such a lovely and thoughtful post. Animals have a wonderful way of teaching us about kindness, loyalty, and living in the moment. I really enjoyed reading these reflections—they are both heartwarming and inspiring.
Some of these quotes made me chuckle. There are some interesting things in that park. The last photo of the succulents amazes me. I've never seen them in anything but pots. Have a great day, Linda!
All my cats have been adopted, one a feral dumped kitten (not feral for long!), the others stray. They have all been the best. I have no idea what that thing is either!
I tend to overthink a lot but am getting better at distracting myself. I love the sounds of birds chirping although their wake-up time of 5 a.m. is a couple hours too early for me! :)
Hello Linda, We just adopted another cat. We had Penelope, she will be 9 in August. We have a dog Ernie, who is a rescue. Our son Sam needed help finding a home for a cat, we decided to help our son. We adopted Benny. I will soon do a post about him. He is a grey longhair male. Have a blessed weekend, Carla
LD...Lots of fun viewing your array of positives. I always love the visuals of the turtles. They seem magical. I bet you are smiling as you find new things to share. Thanks from the Creative Zone
Boa noite minha querida amiga Linda.
I like the expressions on people's faces when the grocery clerk starts throwing stuff to the other young man. lolol I hope your week is going along nicely.
Just beautiful Linda. I especially love the cat ones. Your photos are wonderful - those plants that you've said "I don't know what they were but I found them pretty" ... they are succulents & it looks like possibly some bromeliads in there. They grow in little nooks & crannies & are so hardy. Just beautiful -thank you for sharing. 💙
Such beautiful quotes and this one resonates with me "No matter how unsure you feel, every step forward matters." I have often jumped in the deep and am still be alive lol You photos are gorgeous
I enjoyed reading this collection today. There is something comforting about the way you gather little pieces of wisdom, humor, and kindness from so many places and bring them together in one space. It feels like a quiet reminder to slow down and notice what really matters.
The animal theme stood out a lot this time, especially the way you included both the gentle and the funny sides of life with cats, dogs, birds, horses, and even that playful pig quote. The deer advice was one of my favourites, simple but steady, the kind of reminder people actually need in everyday life more than they realize.
I also liked the balance between lighthearted humor and deeper thoughts about peace, uncertainty, and being yourself. It makes the whole post feel grounded, not heavy, just honest in a calm way.
Your Montreal park photos added a nice personal touch too. Even without knowing exactly what everything was, there is something real about capturing moments just because they caught your eye. That kind of noticing is becoming rare.
The video selections also fit well, especially the lighter ones that bring a bit of nostalgia and fun into the mix.
Overall, it feels like a thoughtful pause in the middle of a busy world.
Linda wonderful post...enjoyed especially watching them do the twist - man that takes one back in time! All your quotes are great my friend. Thanks for being such a lovely encouraging person. Hugs!
Cats are very independent, mysterious and have a very special personality. Fantastic quotes ❤️ it's not always easy, but you always have to try to think positively. Very curious and intriguing the photo Nº2 Interesting videos. Thank you for sharing
Hi, Linda! I love Thomas' quote about how all animals can think and feel. It's like the woman and her black cat in the video said, they know. All our dogs and cats have been rescues, and they could all understand me, perceive when I was not feeling well, and comfort me. I've also rescued frogs, lizards, bats, and even a snake from our swimming pool, and believe they're grateful. BTW, the flower like succulent in your picture is called a Mother-of-Pearl plant, and is native to Northeast Mexico. I live on the Texas border, and my wife has several pots with it, as it grows very easily around here. Have a blessed weekend!
I heard meadowlarks singing this morning, Linda. I think it's one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. I thought the grocery thrower had an amazing arm. 😂. All the best to you! ❤️🌺❤️
You are so kind; I'm glad you enjoyed my spider video. Thanks for sharing these. The bat made me giggle. :) And the black cat 'talks' like my Terra. She has the tiniest voice. Hugs, my dear.
I like the bird chirping one, I love when it is quiet and still in the mornings and you open the windows and can hear the birds just chirping away, beautiful sounds for sure. Wow you found some interesting photos this week.
Your thoughtful mix of animal‑themed quotes, gentle humor, and nature photos creates such a warm and comforting space, and the variety of messages offers something meaningful for every mood; the park pictures add a wonderful personal touch that makes the post feel inviting.
Dearest Linda, Every little thing you post is so meaningful that would deserve a comment, buty it cannot be possible, alas! Just let me say that I do appreciate you, for you're such a beutiful lady. May your Sunday be as beautiful as you XO Daniela @ ~ My little old world ~
Boa noite minha querida amiga Linda.
I love the turtle and dog memes. It's so true that becoming comfortable with yourself is tough but so necessary. And It's also true that dogs and other animals think and feel. Some people are so unaware of the world around them that they think people are the only important ones out there. Have a lovely weekend.
Hi Linda sorry for not visiting for so long. I was busy. I will like to dedicate this song, and I love you so by Perry como, it is a lovely and sentiment song with meaningful lyrics, I hope this song brings a sweet smile to your face.
Your quotes are a big help to me. I am using your quotes to do up my journal book which our friend PH gifted me with many stickers which I bought myself. Thanks dear!
About the thinking dog, you can see my dog think. My chickens think too, and some of them are really smart. Thanks for visiting my blog, Linda. Have a nice Sunday.

ReplyDeleteI love the turtle quote and the videos. Nice post, Linda.
ReplyDeleteI heard meadowlarks singing this morning, Linda. I think it's one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. I thought the grocery thrower had an amazing arm. 😂. All the best to you! ❤️🌺❤️
ReplyDeleteVery clever memes - and with a great deal of truth in them. Your photos are lovely too.
ReplyDeleteThose are all amazing, fun and wise!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! You brightened my day and I hope you have a nice day too.
ReplyDeleteThose are some cute succulents you found and maybe that is a burl growing on a tree trunk?
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind; I'm glad you enjoyed my spider video. Thanks for sharing these. The bat made me giggle. :) And the black cat 'talks' like my Terra. She has the tiniest voice. Hugs, my dear.
ReplyDeleteI like the bird chirping one, I love when it is quiet and still in the mornings and you open the windows and can hear the birds just chirping away, beautiful sounds for sure.
ReplyDeleteWow you found some interesting photos this week.
Wise sayings! The dog bringing her puppy to the vet is the sweetest thing.
ReplyDeleteQuit a lot, you've collected here.... nice sayings and pictures.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
Many very good quotes... most I love today the one belong the birds .Greetings by Heidrun
ReplyDeleteYour thoughtful mix of animal‑themed quotes, gentle humor, and nature photos creates such a warm and comforting space, and the variety of messages offers something meaningful for every mood; the park pictures add a wonderful personal touch that makes the post feel inviting.
ReplyDeleteIn reference to the mama dog bringing her puppy to the vet - you can't say animals don't understand a whole lot more than we tend to believe.
ReplyDeleteDear Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love your posts because you always include wonderful quotes.
Warmest regards :)
Dearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteEvery little thing you post is so meaningful that would deserve a comment, buty it cannot be possible, alas!
Just let me say that I do appreciate you, for you're such a beutiful lady.
May your Sunday be as beautiful as you

Boa noite minha querida amiga Linda.
ReplyDeleteI love the turtle and dog memes. It's so true that becoming comfortable with yourself is tough but so necessary. And It's also true that dogs and other animals think and feel. Some people are so unaware of the world around them that they think people are the only important ones out there. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that muppet song...I am singing it now.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda sorry for not visiting for so long. I was busy. I will like to dedicate this song, and I love you so by Perry como, it is a lovely and sentiment song with meaningful lyrics, I hope this song brings a sweet smile to your face.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the inspiration and chuckles!!
ReplyDeleteYour quotes are a big help to me. I am using your quotes to do up my journal book which our friend PH gifted me with many stickers which I bought myself. Thanks dear!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to the new post!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a nice Sunday...
About the thinking dog, you can see my dog think. My chickens think too, and some of them are really smart. Thanks for visiting my blog, Linda. Have a nice Sunday.
ReplyDeletethe thought about birds chirping as a reminder that life is good is especially inspiring...
ReplyDeleteWhen you distance yourself from negativity...beautiful things happen...This already brightens up the day. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteInteresting post
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Thank you for the comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI have had pets myself too; it is always fun how they react to people. Hans
