You have to look for the good in the bad, the happy in your sad, the gain in your pain and what makes you grateful, not hateful.

Remember...your bedroom is an externalization of your mind. Clean it today and observe what happens. The pursuit and accomplishment of cleaning it will increase your dopamine levels and clear your mind. - T.J. Power

If you're thinking of fostering, just do it! At least try it once, you'll be hooked. It's well worth the hard part of letting go when you see how happy their new adopter is to get to take them home. It expands your heart and teaches you so much about love and life. - Twilah O.

The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone on my walks here in Montreal. I have no idea what kind of tree this is, but I found it pretty and decided to take these two photos. You can click on any image to see a larger view.

In the photos I shared on my previous blog post, there was a photo I took in a park of a beautiful picnic table that I said was marble. Although it looked like marble, it could very well have been granite! Whatever material it was, it was beautiful!

This last photo is a poster on the outside of a bus shelter. As I have mentioned in other posts, most signs here in Quebec are in French. So I will translate this into English so that everyone will understand it.
"I dream of a world without depression."
I think it is important to bring awareness about mental health and the importance of taking care of ourselves in both our physical and mental health. I am glad to see signs like this!

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French)! Enjoy!  :)

  6. Such uplifting words, Linda! That tree is very unique, a yellow flower at the center surrounded by spiky leaves. The leaves remind me of the Casuarina tree. Oh, the French word for depression is the same as in English. Well, I learnt a little bit of French today!

  9. About tidying the bedroom. I don’t have one, or not one that I use. I have a den and a chair. And it could be tidier. 🤪

  14. Dear Linda, thank you for the 3 photos. The flowers on the trees look lovely. The trees look like some sort of fir trees from the leaves. We don't have fir trees here so I can only guess. That is a good awareness poster. The common way that doctors gave treatments are through therapy and medications but many people due to the stigma won't consult a doctor. Have a good day ❤️
