I have seen this plant also in Poland. It looks very beautiful. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI agree that age is just a number. I don't feel my age at all hah..hah... oooh..those flowers are lovely. They look like mini cauliflowers from afar!
ReplyDeleteJust think how thrilled Dolly would have been with Whitney's version. As a songwriter, it would have made her a lot of money! Love all these quotes. You do great getting these together.
ReplyDeleteI can't possibly choose a favorite meme today!
ReplyDeleteLots of good thoughts on age. I love the one about finding your car in the parking lot. Made me laugh but it's true!
ReplyDeleteI love that trolley - they have such charm.
I've always liked that song, both versions.
Achei a foto do trenzinho lindo.
ReplyDeleteAlways a sweet visit here!! Thanks!! xo
ReplyDeleteGetting lucky in the parking lot, lol. I put large flower decals on my vehicle so that I can pick out which light colored suv is mine . . ..
ReplyDeleteAm I wrong to assume that you have a cat, or that you have had cats?
ReplyDeleteDid I just comment? I meant to but may have clicked off accidentally. It wasn't much of a comment. Neither is this. 😉
ReplyDelete...yes, age is just a number, but my number is getting mighty BIG!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge cat lover so I appreciated your post today. :)
ReplyDeleteCostumes are fun and are a way to feel younger! I try to make the best of every day. Sometimes though, the highlight is going to bed and hoping that the next day will work out better. C'est la vie!
ReplyDeleteIn this weather the highlight of my day is my afternoon nap! 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteMy cats, and I, appreciate your posts! I love the ones about age since I'm getting up there too!
ReplyDeleteHello my friend. Thank you for the theme. What great quotes. This one spoke to me.
ReplyDeleteKnow that you are the perfect age. Each year is special and precious, for you shall only live it once. Be comfortable with growing older. - Louise Hay
I love the picture of the trolley!!
Lots of great quotes today! Love those hydrangeas, too. They're such a happy flower!
ReplyDelete"a twinkle in your wrinkle" -- love it, LOL! And I also love the video of Fifi the cat with her little hat, riding in the tractor.
ReplyDeleteThe hydrangeas are so pretty. What a neat trolley. Thank you for the sweet quotes and photos, Linda. Hugs.

We should be proud to become older.
I think that trolley by you would be fun to ride.
Hugs.
Thank you for sharing some amazing quotes, Linda.
ReplyDeleteMark Twain always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteA nice cat story and a nice dog story....lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms!
ReplyDeleteMickey Dolenz ❤️
ReplyDeleteI think I'll make this happen: "It's important to have a twinkle in your wrinkle." 🤭😀 Thanks Linda dear 💕
Good morning Linda, you are so right about getting older. Personally, I don't have any trouble with it, at least. But I'm only 60, so I still have a long way to go :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing. The trolley looks beautiful with that wood. I read that you are having trouble with how Blogger updates your RSS feed. It is not a problem for me, because the update appears in my reader :)
I wish you a wonderful time until Sunday.
Interesting spot for a trolley. I wonder what the display was about.
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful cats, can never have enough images of kitties.
ReplyDeleteThey would call the trolley a tram here. It's beautiful.
Dolly's song is a good one and I first heard Dolly sing it.
ReplyDeleteThe memes are good, the Just for Laughs, those poor people thinking the people thought they did it...nice photos of your too, Linda.
Time is relative....
ReplyDeleteLovely thoughs !
Have shinny day !
Anna
The one about the ageing cat and the soft purr made me snigger because my ageing cat has been "yelling" at me half the morning. She has a full repertoire from the crow that has smoked too much to an opera singer which is funny as she has only started talking again after almost nine years!
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms! I agree, age is just a number.
Love the old dogs and cats.
Take care, have a great day!
I choose this quote: “The great thing about getting older is that you don’t lose all the other ages you’ve been.” — Madeleine L’Engle. I chose it because most of the time ageing is spoken about in terms of subtraction: the loss of youth, time or abilities. However, this quote completely turns that perspective around and presents it as an accumulation of experiences. We do not leave behind the person we were at ten, twenty or forty years old; all those versions still live within us, adding layers, nuances and learning to the person we are today. It is a realistic and cumulative view of life, one that avoids empty nostalgia and gives dignity to the passing of time as a gain, not a loss. A big hug, Linda, and thank you for the beautiful hydrangeas you leave us in your images.
ReplyDeleteYes, age is just a number, Linda! Beautiful cats and flowers! The white flower is a hydrangea.
ReplyDeleteI sure go with Mark Twain, dear friend Linda. And the twinkle!
ReplyDeleteCanadian humor is... Canadian? ;-)
Cute cat story - Much love and hugs on the way!
Reaching old age is a blessing denied to many!
ReplyDeleteOr as Harrison Ford puts it: "It not he age honey, it's the milage" :D
Pretty hydrangeas you photographed!
Have a nice weekend!
Your posts always brighten my days, Linda! And you are so right about age being just a number. I just need to convince my knees and back of this fact :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteSpecial, Linda, the trolley!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gag!
Lie(f)s.
These are all good ones, Love the one about playing dress up
I try to remember... "not everyone is granted the priveledge of getting older."
ReplyDeleteDolly Parton is a national treasure, Linda. I so enjoyed the wisdom you've shared here about aging and taking it all in stride and with grace. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely hydrangeas, ours are blooming right now as well!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these beautiful flower photos and that lovely old train. They are all such good, useful quotes, and the videos are great.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day, hugs, Elke
Enjoyed this post very much. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteThe hydrangeas are looking good! Love that trolley too, it provides great photo ops.
ReplyDeleteYes, age is just a number in spirit, though sometimes my body says otherwise! 😆
Stay cool! 🥵🥵🥵
Dear Linda, the trolley is a tram carriage? Looks like an antique, so quaint. Have a good day ❤️ 🌞
ReplyDeleteGorgeous hydrangeas!!! And I love the videos of puppies and kitties.
ReplyDeleteSo many great thoughts expressed here. I love them all. And aging is something that does take patience and true grit. I'm at an age where I don't care so much what other people think, I'm just glad I can think at all! LOL. Thank you for coming up with these great memes and videos. They are all inspiring and encouraging and fun. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I like both the versions that Dolly & Whitney sang. They are two different versions, but equally beautiful. Dolly's version is more softspoken and emotional in a subtle way. Whitney's version demonstrates her vocal virtuoso, and is emotional in a direct way. Both versions are masterpieces, and both singers are amazing. It is sad Whitney is no longer with us, and a precautionary tale about dangers of addiction. If not for drug abuse, Whitney would probably still be with us, like Dolly.
ReplyDeleteGreat inspirational quotes and images. It is great when cats are found, fixed and returned....killing them is cruel and inhuman. Cats are useful and beautiful animals.
I like Hugo's quote about wrinkles, very charming!
Have a great day!
So much good thoughts here today. When you think about the alternative to getting old, getting old doesn't seem so bad.
Saludos.
Linda such great and also funny quotes concerning aging...made me smile. As always enjoy seeing your pet videos. Dolly Parton has such a gorgeous voice and such a talented star. Hope you are having a beautiful start to your July. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things to be thankful for- it's all how you look at it. thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteDeus caritas est!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! The words about senior pets are such a beautiful message. The photos of Montreal turned out great. Thank you for this post, and warm regards.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like that trolley. The Annabelle hydrangea shots are beautiful. And love every cat meme!
ReplyDeleteI like both versions of I will always love you too. I hope you are doing well, Linda. Thank you for always sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteInteresting post again, I picked this one as one of my favourite:
ReplyDelete"Know that you are the perfect age. Each year is special and precious, for you shall only live it once. Be comfortable with growing older. - Louise Hay"
Have a nice day Linda and I hope you get some rain there.
Dear Linda!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post featuring wonderful animals: cats and dogs.
The best is yet to be.- Robert Browning
ReplyDeleteI loved The Monkeys when I was a youngster!
ReplyDeleteYou really made my day. And that title is so true. Age is Just a Number.
ReplyDeleteAt age 20, we worry about what others think of us. At age 40, we don't care what they think of us. At age 60, we discover they haven't been thinking of us at all. - Ann Landers
ReplyDeleteHa Ha .... I like this one Linda.
Thank you!
Continuing to pray that you are feeling well.
xo
Carla
I love the Ann Landers quote about age. So true!!
ReplyDeleteI like trap neuter and rehome better! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a trolley. Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the one by Madeleine L'Engle. The more I ponder on it, the less I understand. 🙄🙃
ReplyDeleteYou are correct...age is just a number. Those flowers look the same color as my hydrangeas. Well, the color my hydrangeas are currently. They change as the summer progresses. Thanks for sharing, dear Linda.
Heck, EVERY age means getting lucky to find my car in the lot, lol!
ReplyDeleteI was telling myself age is only a number today after a hill walk until I attempted to get out of my car later to go into a supermarket and found myself walking like the tin man in OZ... before he got the oil can service. Squealing and squeaking with every step.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely and touching post, Linda. Lovely photos of the hydrandea flowers and the trolley. I am now humming Judy Garland's song about the trolley! :D
ReplyDeleteYes the older I get the more I am very thankful for each day, especially the ones that I feel good :). That trolley is so pretty, I love the wooden sides to it.
ReplyDelete
