ReplyDeleteOh yes, Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" is a beloved classic Gay Pride anthem, the lyrics understood not as a response to an individual, but as a response to a rejecting society or culture as a whole. LOVE IT!

Wow Linda - you have filled the page with so much wisdom and joy today. As I was reading through these, I was reminded of my teenage years when we used to get posters and hang them on our bedroom walls. I feel like some of these should be printed and put on my walls as a regular reminder. Thank you for sharing!
