Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by! I hope that today's choices will bring a positive start to your week!
All you need to worry about is taking care of yourself, and you're doing a good job of that.
Did you know this about cats? Cats sleep for 70% of their lives. Female cats are typically right-pawed, males are typically left-pawed. Cats are more popular than dogs in America: 88 millions cats vs 74 million dogs. Cats make more than 100 sounds. Dogs only make 10. Owning a cat reduces your heart attack risk by more than a third.

Good morning Linda! I hope you are having a good day and I wish you a great week ahead! I never thought of cats being right pawed or left pawed. How fascinating! I must observe my girls to check if they are right or left pawed though it might not be that obvious.
ReplyDelete"I have P.M.A. (positive mental attitude) I'm positive, I'm mental and I know I have attitude! " This quote is absolutely hilarious! But has some truth because I fell that way sometimes.
Depression is a terrible thing, I have been through it and it helps to talk it out to someone who is kind and understanding. Indeed we are not alone as many people do and have experienced depression.
That sheep driving that vehicle--OMGosh! That was amazing!
ReplyDeleteAlways a cheery post. :)
I loved the part about cats. My little black cat, whom I didn't want at all but took for a year, has been a joy and stress/depression reliever. My younger daughter needed me to babysit her for a year while she taught in South Korea; when she returned, I was unwilling to give the cat back. That was 10 years ago. I thought I didn't want a cat at all but now we are madly in love with each other!
ReplyDeleteAnother post with such great things that you found. I thought the facts about cats was interesting. I would never have guessed that they are more popular than dogs.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the shepherd and sheep from the expo is so cool!
Thank you for the photos of the park. I love how the plants were shaped.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Do you like cats very much??
ReplyDeleteI loved the cat statistics (and learned something new). That topiary (?) sculpture at St. Helen's is a stunner. The shepherd statue s pretty amazing too and I love the sheep.

I agree with Roald Dahl! I love the classic car, it is so pretty and well taken care of. The topiaries are awesome!! Especially the shepherd and his sheep.
ReplyDeleteYour post is like a gentle hug to start the week.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quotes! Have a great new week ahead, Linda.
ReplyDeleteThe photos from Expo67 are wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteDepression is no stranger to me either, and I enjoy your encouraging words and all the funny animals and everything else. The day also begins differently, namely more positively, more determined to do something during the phases of melancholy!!
Together we are stronger than you can imagine, dear Linda.
Have a good time , hugs Elke
Expressed so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that about the cats. They say, silence is golden. Just for laughs is good..lol
ReplyDeleteInteresting video is the too many cars one.
Interesting photos, Linda.
Take care.
I would have never thought that cats are more popular than dogs in the United States. I enjoyed the videos, Linda :-)

I needed to read some of these quotes today. Thank you for sharing, Linda ♥ I know a lot about cats, but I didn't know about the 100 sounds. Amazing. Your photos are absolutely gorgeous. I love the lady with the outstretched hand. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteDear Linda!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the wonderful facts about cats! I have two cats, so I'm very lucky.
I think I may be a 😺🐈 in my previous life because I want to sleep 70% in this life. 😂
ReplyDeleteThank you for the mother earth sculpture again. I hope that one day I may see this sculpture in person.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Vancouver in 1997 so I hope I may get to visit Montreal one day in the future. 🤞
Of course I stop by, Linda, and when I find than a breakfast smoothie..., mmm...!

The shepherd topiary was also part of MosaiCanada
ReplyDeleteThe smoothie looks really good. Love that vintage blue car. I had a friend in high school who had a car that color
ReplyDeleteDear Linda
ReplyDeleteAs I type this, it's Monday morning here in the UK.
I am enjoying a cup of tea while both reading your post, and watching the videos. The highlight was 'Theme from a Summer Place by Percy Faith' lovely music and memories ... I've always liked this piece of music.
Thank you for a great start to the week.
Take care over there in Montreal.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Hello Linda,

Thank you once again for your inspirational posts. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteThose sculptures are beyond amazing and the vintage car is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful photos and inspiration. 💕 BTW, I think my angel Nicki (cat) raised my blood pressure daily, not lowered it! 😆
ReplyDeleteOh, that's perfect weather. It will be November before we get anything like that. Still, I can swim and escape from the heat today! Thank you for all your lovely thoughts shared here.
ReplyDeleteMemories of Jean Drapeau and Expo 67 take me back to when I lived in Québec. Fond memories.
ReplyDeleteThe park looks like a great place to visit, Linda, and I liked the topiary of the shepherd and his sheep flock. You provided some great words of advice, as always.
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that our girl cat seems to be right-pawed. She kind of waves it when she thnks that a treat is coming.
ReplyDeleteThe strawberry smoothie sounds good, and easy!
ReplyDeleteIf cats sleep 70% of their lives, I wonder about dogs . All mine seem to do is sleep, with occasionally bouts of zoomies and breaks for food!
The memes were good. Yep, butterflies get the credit and caterpillars are icky. The park photos are good too.
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely parks to enjoy! Wishing you more of your favourite type of weather to enjoy while you are out and about.
