Depression is a terrible thing, I have been through it and it helps to talk it out to someone who is kind and understanding. Indeed we are not alone as many people do and have experienced depression.

I loved the part about cats. My little black cat, whom I didn't want at all but took for a year, has been a joy and stress/depression reliever. My younger daughter needed me to babysit her for a year while she taught in South Korea; when she returned, I was unwilling to give the cat back. That was 10 years ago. I thought I didn't want a cat at all but now we are madly in love with each other!

The cat info was curious, sometimes when our cats fight I wonder if they are going to give us a heart attack :) The park looks so nice and it that is great they have free transportation for those that can't get around to see everything very well.

One of my two female cats uses her paw to take food from the bowl sometimes. Must check which one! I wonder if having more cats multiplies lowering the risk of heart problems... But anyway, having cats is anti depressing.
