The following photos are my own, which I took with my cellphone. This is my first attempt at photographing a sunset. I was in the hallway of a building and as I walked down the hall I saw outside the windows this beautiful sunset! Not wanting to miss this opportunity, I decided to capture the photos right where I was. You can click on any image to see a larger view.

The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French) done here in Montreal. Enjoy! :)

  16. I love the "mind like a parachute" quote but it was actually Thomas Dewar (the whisky guy) who said it. He had many great quotes. I call myself a realistic optimist or a cheerful pessimist. I can be both.

  30. What a beautiful collection of reminders: gentle, wise, and sometimes playfully feline 😊 I love how you balance humor (that cat quote made me laugh!) with truly grounding thoughts about resilience and mindset and your sunset photos are especially lovely :) there’s something magical about catching light in an unexpected moment, like seeing it from a hallway and deciding not to let it pass. It fits the theme of your post perfectly: even in ordinary spaces, there’s beauty waiting if we’re open to it.

Tyle mogę zrobić dla siebie. Dla innych mam uśmiech, jakieś słowo i zawsze życzenie miłego dnia. To nas samych dobrze buduje.
Pozdrawiam Cię serdecznie i ciepło :)

  41. Thanks for the quotes.
With my own experience, I can say that you don't have to learn any of those things alone, if you have a wonderful Jesus in your life.

  85. Oh my goodness, these are all so good! Negativity can creep up on the most optimistic souls, I know this all to well. I saw an old interview with Bruce Lee, one of the most amazing martial artists. He was asked how can you accomplish these things. He said "speak positive words to yourself. Your body doesn't know the difference, you mind does." Something like this. He said "words are powerful." Thanks for sharing.
