Simplicity, Tranquility
Hello dear friends and fellow bloggers! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to visit me here! I really appreciate you all so much!
Just a special note...on Blogger, I have noticed that there is a delay in new blog posts in that they don't appear right away in the NEWS READER. However, the post will appear immediately on your blog itself at the time it is published. This means that your readers and followers will not know that your new post is up until between 30 minutes to a few hours later, even several hours later when it finally appears in the Blogger Reader...if it even appears at all. This doesn't happen all the time, but I just wanted to let you all know that it is something I have noticed.
And just to let you all know, I schedule my new posts to publish on Sundays and Wednesdays between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. You should see my new posts by checking my blog at the above-mentioned times. I only post on Mondays and Thursdays. Thank you so much.
Here are today's picks, which I hope will brighten your day!

The following photos are my own, which I took on Friday, April 24th with my cellphone. You can click on any image to see a larger view.
I found this pothole in the parking lot of a shopping mall. Yes, Spring is a beautiful season, but there are hazards that come with it...potholes, flooding, just to name two! So please be careful when you walk, sometimes you may not see a pothole, and you can twist an ankle or worse! This happened to a woman here in Montreal that was on the news, she got hurt pretty badly.
I took this photo of the sign outside of one of my favourite housewares stores here in Montreal. Hart! The sign is in French, as pretty much all signs here in Quebec, so I will translate it for you all so that you can understand. "maison en gros" means "in bulk store"
They get their items directly from the manufacturer, which transfers to savings for customers. A great store!
I came across a little sparrow who had a nest in the top part of a bus shelter. How I found him? He was chirping away! So adorable! You can see the nest on the upper middle part of my photo and you should also be able to see the sparrow as well! (by clicking on this picture to see a larger view)
An American Eagle store in a mall.
The following photos I took of a beautiful display in a mall! These are the remainder of the photos from my last post. You can click on any image to see a larger view.
The following video is a Just for Laughs Gag (Juste pour Rire in French). Although the majority of these gags are done here in Montreal, they have traveled to different countries as well to do them, and this particular one was done in Europe. Enjoy! :)

Boa noite, minha querida amiga Linda.
I love today's theme - Simplicity and Tranquility! Keeping things simple, whatever they may be and having tranquility is a blessing. I dislike complication and chaos! Oh, love your photos of the pretty and colorful flowers! I also love ferns. They are beautiful!
I appreciated the ones on simplicity. So true - I think our culture has gotten so caught up in stuff, and living more simply really is better. Potholes are crazy here too, winter weather followed by lots of rain is not good for the roads or parking lots.
Good morning, dear Linda! I have noticed that about the reading list too. Oh I do hope nobody disturbs that sparrow's nest! Wishing you a lovely day ahead!
Bonjour Linda, Merci pour cette très jolie page pleine de bon sens et de pensées à méditer. Pourvu que personne ne vienne ennuyer ce cule de moineau. Bises et bonne journée.
Thanks for the info about the blogger, and the lovely quotes and your own photos are very interesting again. The bird where it's nesting is so cute. You've chosen some great videos! Have a wonderful week in May!Hugs Elke
Dear friend Linda, yes, blogger hops around again! I often or mostly see your posts only a day later. But my attitude is: Linda will be there. And ... to progress! And yes, I unclutter! Keep it simple. (oh, but the arty stuff!) Anxiety ... regrets? Not too many... Pothole... the same worldwide, huh. Hart sounds like a good one. LOL, you guys are hilarious! Pour rire! Oh, my French sure is down the drain! Grown Wallbies can get quite... demanding! Hugs and much love on this sunny day´s way!
Such lovely flowers! Blogger always has some kind of errors, delays and god knows what other devil's business else.... We are all used to it by now... Like when we have to write a new post and the blank field opens in Passage mode instead Normal mode, annoying to the extreme....

ReplyDeleteOur island state Tasmania has quite a lot of albino wallabies and I don't think they really have predators there that are a threat to them.
