Isn't the bear having the best time ever in the water. That's pure play, just for fun.
ReplyDeleteI love the Simone painting!
ReplyDeleteAgain you've shared lots of truth here. I think unplugging from all the media and enjoying the beauty of the world God created is so very good for our mental state.
I laughed at the construction statement because we have the same one - 2 seasons in Michigan; winter and construction! :)
Nature is beautiful and healing! A walk in the park is always so calming to the mind. My partner and I used to go the the botanical gardens for our Sunday morning walk. Then the pandemic came and we stopped and we never quite resumed that activity. Oooh! Isn't Simone a pretty little kitten hee..hee...
ReplyDeleteWinter and construction. That's funny. We don't have winter, just construction ;)
ReplyDelete..."What do you call a magic dog? A labracadabrador," I love the pun!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the magie dog, Linda! Apologies for the missunderstanding but my teeth are good! Wishing you my friend, a wonderful rest of the week ❤️
ReplyDeleteGood to hear "Instant Karma" again. It's a song I'd forgotten about.
ReplyDelete"Turn off the news. Go outside. Breathe. We were not meant to carry the burden of the entire world. - Florence Williams" I have to tell myself that a lot. BTW, "winter and construction" is everywhere!
ReplyDeleteSiempre es bueno ver y convivir con la naturaleza. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely selection of quotes. Yes, I do believe nature is the best medicine. Thank you for brightening my day, Linda. Hugs and Blessings.
ReplyDeleteLabracadabrador, hahahahaha! And I remember when Zamfir was a huge global sensation in the early 1980s! Wow, it's been forever since I heard any of his pan flute music but then, it was EVERYWHERE!
ReplyDeleteReading your blog always makes me feel better!
ReplyDeleteNature certainly does bring solace in all troubles. Oh, how thankful I am to live in a place surrounded by a forest. Not too many who can claim that advantage, Linda. Thanks for all the inspirations tonight!
ReplyDeleteThis is good to remember every day : " We have a choice to use the gift of our life to make the world a better place - or not to bother. " 🌿
ReplyDeleteVery nice play on word, Linda 😀 Purrfect. Labracadabradra !
Quel shock; I thought that was snow in your first photo.
How long did I sleep? 😛😎😀
I love that bear video!
ReplyDeleteSome really inspiring quotes, Linda!
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes today, my friend!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite one is that of Jane Goodall, one of my heroes (I was so lucky to attend one of her talks once).
Have a great rest of the week! 😘
The text 'your worst enemy..." is so true... Often enough I tell myself, that it's all imagination ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collectioen of quotes, thank you, have a nice day!
Greetings from The Netherlands
Good morning Linda, I'm a big Startrek fan, so you first quote was just the right one.
ReplyDeleteYou have some good quotes today.
I wish you a good week.
Love the lonely shepherd. The quotes are good, enjoy reading each and every one of them.
ReplyDeleteNice post as usual Linda.
Nature truly is healing and I agree with Dr. Goodall. I just wish more people would understand! Have a lovely day, Linda!
ReplyDeleteHere in Finland, too, road works are done in the summer, after all, they can't be done in the winter. It's good that the roads are being repaired. Thank you for the good thoughts, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy nature, but I still watch the news every day, I want to know what's going on in the world.
Beautiful quotes, Linda.
ReplyDeleteI think these two are very good.
Nature is my medicine. - Sara Moss-Wolfe and also this one.
The wealth I attain comes from nature, the source of my inspiration. - Claude Monet
I think your photos are very beautiful too, especially the sky with the clouds.
All the best, Irma
The quote from Jane Goodall is so beautiful, and it's good to be reminded of her wise words.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Linda!
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteI love all the nature quotes! I agree with Jane Goodall, quote is so true.
Pretty sky capture. Take care, enjoy your day!
My dear Linda, you have such wonderful quotes and words of wisdom in your post—they really do one so much good. Thank you so much! I also always love looking at your photos and videos!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!! A loving hug, Elke
What a lot to enjoy, some lovely quotes and I love the cats:)
ReplyDeleteI'm 100% on Nature as medicine for mind and spirit. I NEED green leaves and grass around me, which is why my whole soul feels like it withers and dies through our long winters. 🙃
ReplyDeleteTake care!
The one about me being my own worst enemy is so true. At first I thought that first picture was of snow. Glad it was clouds instead
ReplyDeleteI am learning how to listen more. Another great, great collection. Thank you, Linda. Sending love to you x
ReplyDeleteLabracadablor and hands in the river win. :)
ReplyDeleteBeing out in nature is always healing, Linda. Thanks for blessing us with all these sweet reminders today. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOur real enemy is ourselves, and that's the hardest battle to fight. Indeed, nature is a form of therapy. Nice photo of cumulonimbus clouds.
ReplyDeletelabracadabrador 😄
ReplyDeleteDear Linda!
ReplyDeleteAs always, the quotes are excellent. Nature is always wiser than human ideas. The videos are full of humor.
I wish you beautiful summer weather this coming weekend.
You find the best memes. The kitties with Star Trek made me smile, and it is so true, we are all int he same boat. Hope you are having a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteSpock says hi! :-) Well, without the smile....
ReplyDeleteAnd Dr. Jane Goodall sure was a wise woman. Adorable, too.
I fear money rules the world...
Cute bear... we´re all the same! Have a great day, dear friend Linda, love and hugs are on the way.
I'm obviously late getting here!! Always a great visit!! xo
ReplyDeleteThey always do construction works in the biggest heat of summer, like right now, sadly. Finished reading a Canadian book yesterday, SNAP! by Susin Nielsen, it was wonderful, set in Vancouver.
ReplyDeleteAnother great post. The dancer video was so good.
ReplyDeleteLinda, just being outside is healing for me. I just love your kitty pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to The Lonely Shepherd - wonderful music! And tomorrow morning I'm going to my garden - it's healing for me.
ReplyDeleteGood joke about the magic dog!
ReplyDeleteGrandes frases pero creo que me quedo con esa en que nos dices que somo los peor para nosotros.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
What a lovely collection of images and little moments! I always enjoy your posts because they are such a cheerful and relaxing break from everyday life. There is something so nice about simply stopping for a moment, enjoying the pictures, and sharing a smile.
ReplyDeleteKisses
The panflute music is haunting and beautiful. I idolized Jacques Cousteau when young, as co inventor of the aqua lung and also watched his specials. I went to two Jacques Cousteau Involvement days and met his son Jean Michelle when in college.
ReplyDeleteWe have that same saying in Michigan, too! Listening is so, so important!
ReplyDeleteVery nice post.
ReplyDelete'Winter and construction' -> not better here, dear Linda!
ReplyDeleteNice gag! ;-)
Lie(f)s.
Love the cloud photo Linda. I did chuckle at your two seasons, winter and construction.
ReplyDeleteMajority of the time we're our own worst enemy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes. They all truly resonate with me. I had to laugh at your two seasons!
ReplyDeleteLots of good advice covered here.
ReplyDeleteTurn off the news. Go outside. Breathe. We were not meant to carry the burden of the entire world. - Florence Williams
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I really liked the above quote. Thank you!!
I love the cloud photo, well done with capturing the beauty of the clouds.
Construction and closed roads are rampant here as well. I love nature and will go out for a walk soon. Cats and Star Trek--two of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteAfter 7 years of taking French in school, I barely remember much, but I'm happy to report that I could read your sign!! Haha!
ReplyDeleteAhoj, Lindo,
ReplyDeletez citátů si každý vybere to své, ale nejlepší je video s koupajícím se medvědem! 👍
Měj se pěkně. ☺
So many good ones in this post, dear Linda. I love your description of Montreal seasons.
ReplyDeleteConstruction seems endless.
ReplyDeleteI like the reactions of people to the annoying dancer!! And of course I love Zamfir ( which reminds me that I haven't listened to his CDs for too long).
ReplyDeleteLinda ... another lovely collection.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the words from Dr. Jane Goodall and Sir David Attenborough.
Happy end of the week wishes.
All the best Jan
Dear Linda, ❤️ love your photo of the clouds in the blue sky, white cotton candy 😋
ReplyDeleteThis quote. "Montreal has two seasons. Winter and construction" can be applied in half to my place too! 😂 I guess constructions are everywhere but not winters. I think I would prefer winters than constructions.
Good night!
Dear Linda, wishing you a good night sleep as it is going to be 8 pm soon where you are now. Sweet dreams 💤😴
ReplyDeleteAnother selection of lovely quotes, Linda. Yes, we must never forget that we are a part of nature, not apart from it.
ReplyDeleteSiempre magníficas tus fotos y frases
ReplyDeletePaz
